  1. So true. Guess who gets to decide if you get to keep your gun? I'll give you a hint. That would be politicians. Hope you get the connection between politicians and politics. Ignore the politics and you'll lose your gun. Still think politics aren't important on a gun forum? I'm surprised this guy is pissed about politics being discussed but has no problem with the joke section. DELETED
  2. I NEED ALL OF YOUR IMPUT ON A SCOPE/MOUNT COMBO FOR MY FACTORY 308 SAIGA WITH THE SPORTER,16" barrel.(BLACK PLASTIC STOCK). I need a scope/ mount combo or a scope mount with the weaver rail attached. I know that some of the posp scopes will not work because of the eye relief and the use of the sporter stock. I need to know if I use the weaver mount will a regular scope work to give me the correct eye relief? I have looked at the eastwave products along with Tantal. I will use it for deer out to possibly 200 yards. Thanks.(also include the height of the rings as well as the scope size and brand
  3. I have a .50 Beowulf and it is not that cartridge as the head is too large.
  4. I have not used these but know if you want the most reliable go with the Ruger Factory 20 rounders. I paid $90 each for some before the ban was lifted, you can now find them as low as $35.00 new if you look hard enough. Try www.gunbroker.com. They usually have them for good prices. LOL
  5. I would like to buy a cheap but quality(I know that those two statements don't belong together)one, for my rifle which has the 3/8" groove for tipoff mount rings. I like the DOCTOR, but that is too much money to put into one for a $99 rifle. Any suggestions and if so, how good are the ones that are out there, as far as durability and maintaining adjustments? Thanks. I found a NC Star red dot with a lifetime warranty, does anyone have one of these?(It is $32.00)(1x30mm)
  6. I had a Saiga-12 with 22" full choke for about three years and then sold it,like a fool. I never had a malfunction with it. Thanks. Randall. I will measure it when I get it and let you know. (as long as it is 19" I will be happy!) I saw an auction at that site for AK side mount that was claiming " these are very sold steel mounts". I didnt know any of the Belarus mounts were all steel. I thought most of the mount was aluminum. I emailed TANTAL and ask him about the EXP-1S-03M Kobra sight w/ mount and he advised it was one of the best ones made and was the one most
  7. Bought a NEW EAA Saiga-12(2001) with 22" threaded barrel and (3) chokes on Auction Arms and it shipped today!
  8. Would you like to have a Saiga-12 with an ACTUAL 19" factory threaded barrel? Yes No
  9. If your pistol is marked C.A.I. on it,there should be a little letter(z) I believe marked on the trigger guard to let you know that the modification to the hammer drop/safety was completed at the factory,if not the pistol is not safe.
  10. Vern, I THINK the switch would work, but if I was you I would not sink any money into it. The reason being, I had the MK 111 in .40 S&W and with the recoil spring that they had to use, it was almost impossible to cock the pistol without taking half of your hide off. Really, it was so hard to cock, that I sold it, and I love the Browning 9mm model. Hope this helps.
