Schultze, they caught me trying to break out, but released me as an award for creativity in my escape attempt.
-
And ShadowFire... I'd run away, fast.
-
I joined in "08" and thought I recognized your handle. Good to see you back (if you are still here! LOL)
-
For anyone who has not yet noticed, the Coonan Model B (.357 Magnum 1911) is back in production.
-
The LGS had an AKM (no import marks that I could see, guy said he "thinks" it's Bulg.) for $959. Am I wrong for thinking that's blindingly unreasonable?

LOL! but this one is special!
-
"Buy it before the Obaminator takes it away!!" lol
-
For $959, I hope it comes with a duplicate as a spare!

It feels like it's time for another 3 year vacation from this place.

Not really...
I mean a time on this forum...
Ever read back to the beginning of the forum?
Nothing's really changed.
Just the screen names & mag capacities have.
-
Of course not. It would be foolish to believe in any sort of "good old days" with anything
-
Caspian, Please stick around: the world, and this forum, needs people like you more than they know.
-
K, seriously, how are you supposed to attach the IIFS buttpack to the D-rings on the back of the ELBV?

Start a post in General(w/ pics), you'll likely get more ofa response.

Nah, I'll mess around with it later, not concerned with it right now. I was just ranting.

My cats suck.... we get a few mice every now and then in late fall.. they run around with them in their mouths but won't bite down....
-
I've never seen a mouse outside of mine's mouth.
It's rare, but when it happens I turn my head & let him finish them off. He really enjoys it. Then he plays with it for a while & when he turns his back, I steal it. He gets so sad when he can't find it.
-
Forget the .22 and got S12 w/ an MD Drum, lol. We have one that lets us set traps and then when the trap goes off, he runs into the basement and brings us the mouse AND trap. To my SO "He's not lazy, he's practiceing good survival strategy."

Six years, seven thousand miles, a personal awakening and a war can make people drift pretty far apart.

Oh, I'm fine. I'm just trying to decide whether or not it's worth the effort to try to keep someone who was a friend long, long ago still a friend. Does that make sense?
-
If the individual in question is a true honest to goodness "friend", the question will answer its self.
-
Everybody over there needs all the friends to talk to over here they can get. Believe me it helps

Tonight's movie: Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Happy turkey day, everyone.

There's an old saying I saw on a bumper sticker today; "The more people I meet...the more I like my dogs". Sometimes, it's true.
-
Just being reminded a lot lately that a large part of my reason behind owning guns is that the majority of other gun owners and their theocratic convictions scare the hell out of me.
-
Don't be scared...
Be armed..
Stay right with the Lord & be ready to meet him at all times & all your fears are for naught.
Follow what you know is right i your heart & let the chips fall where they may.
Carpe diem!!!

Oh... That's gotta suck.
Sorry to hear.
I'm a migraine sufferer & when I hurt my neck, I had muscle spasims that would pinch a nerve & I'd get a full blown migraine & the worst shooting neck pain imaginable... I think I about know how you feel.
Can YOU say lots'a Oxycodone???

Prayers out for a speedy recovery....

Belated, but thoughts and prayers. Hope this passes soon!

You really like some Clint Eastwood huh? lol he is A BadAass!
-
Yeah I've been on kind of an Eastwood kick lately. That and Michael Douglas, for some reason. Watched Wall Street the other night, and War of the Roses a couple weeks ago.
-
Two mules for sister Sarah???
Sound's kinda like something I saw in Tijuana once.

is trying to find a practical reason to own a TP9 in a state that disallows ownership of SBRs...

If you get your technique down, you can supplement a stock with a 1 point sling rig quite effectively & It would make a great Concealed handgun, swing up from under your coat style!
You just pull the gun away from you against the sling to stabilize it rather than holding it against you.
-
DSA sells them as title-1 pistols, no buttstock, but they do have the mounting bracket molded directly into the frame. If you reg it as an SBR, DSA will sell you the buttstock too. As a folding-stock subgun I like it a lot, but as just a pistol it has absolutely no benefit over a Glock 17. Also I've tried the single-point sling brace with other similar platforms (M11/9), and it just doesn't do it for me.
I'm just pissed at WA state for banning SBRs and SBSs. DDs and...
-
Stupid comment length limit. AIWS: DDs and AOWs are okay though, so I'm thinking a 14" M870 AOW and a Penn Arms PGL-65 are on the list of things to get.

Tried it, it just doesn't work with my learning style. Autodidactism is the only way I can do things; four years of math class couldn't teach me trig but later on I figured it out on my own.
-
How long have you been at it? Not bad just the endings are a bit off and word placement. But its understandable. Not the easiest of lnguages to learn. Good luck! If you need help let me know
-
lol. It's ok. I'm learning spanish slowly myself... My wife laughs at me and my pronunciation.
-
Man, I am soooooooo gonna get banned...

There are of course exceptions to every rule. I have seen ARs in every price range that patterned like shotguns, and AKs that were sworn *at* more than they were sworn *by*.
-
Luckily the Saiga family of rifles is sworn By, not AT...
-
I also hate the vibrating spring by my ear in the stock. WTF kind of design was that. BANG!... kwwwaaaannngggggg.... not to mention the rifle recoils then forward 'recoils' from the buffer system slamming home. It feels like the entire gun jumped... like when something startles you and you jump... thats the return to battery on an AR.
