  1. I have three factory 10 round magazines and three SGM tactical 30 round magazines. All of them are new and unused. Would take $130 shipped for all of them. It would cost you $180 plus shipping at any online store.
  2. Looking to buy a stock saiga 223 handguard in or around Houston. I have a utg quad rail I can trade with straight up. I just decided I like the simple look better than the tactical look. Thanks
  3. Hand cycling it is difficult, you have to put some muscle into it. It seems to be hanging up on the rails that the carrier slides on. Even when you slide the carrier all the way up (where it doesn't make contact with the hammer) it still doesn't want to slide. I've tried sanding/cleaning/smoothing the rails up, no luck.
  4. Hello all, I've come across a problem I've never seen before. My bolt carrier does not easily slide back and forth/operate. It causes the gun to not cycle. I've converted several Saigas, never had this problem. The gun has a g2 trigger group, nothing was modified on the bolt carrier. Is there something else I need to change when converting the gun to make it operate correctly?
  5. Looking at your pics, does your rifle not have a BHO lever?
  6. I like the rail. Fits like a glove and rock solid.
  7. Hello all, I converted two Saigas last summer and was hooked. This Saiga 223 is my first one, a few more Saiga rifles are in the works. I'll try to describe it as best as possible. Parts: Saiga .223 with dimples, skeleton stock, Carolina Shooters Conversion package with upgraded pistol grip, UTG quad rail, Magpul AFG, Tromix Charging Handle, Duracoat "Shake n Spray" kit, SGM 30 round magazine. PIC 1: The stock rifle out of the box PIC 2: Skeleton stock. I loved the skeleton stock, but didn't want to put a rubber pad on it. It's just a 223 anyways. I poped two bolts in the ho
  8. I have that Sentry 14 gun safe and it is a very tight fit just to get 10 long guns in it. And that's just long guns, no scopes attached to them. It's very narrow and tight once you start stacking them in. But for the $480 price tag, it does ok. edit: Also, if you plan on storing ammo on the long top shelf, you'll have to reinforce it for sure. It's only 1/2" mdf plywood and will sag/collapse pretty much instantly when anything heavy is placed on it.
  9. What are you supposed to fill the holes in with? I've done two S-12's and used plugs. Fixing to convert two Saiga 223's this week.... What other custom options have you done? I thought about JB Weld, not sure if that would hold up over the long run with oils and cleaners in the gun.....
  10. Wife's out of town with the camera at the moment, but I'll try to get a video of it in action in the next few weeks. I would just use them in the Saiga, but I would have to manual cycle. I would much rather prefer to shoot flashbangs and slugs at the same time if ever burglarized and needed.
  11. I have the 37mm Spike's Tactical Launcher on the Saiga with the 12ga adapter in it. I'm wanting to shoot some ALS 12ga flash bangs out of it similar to the link below and have one question: http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/product_info.php/pName/9rds-12-gauge-flash-bang-ammo Can I legally shoot this out of that launcher without papers?
  12. I don't think it was price gouging. They weren't trying to sell one to me at a crazy hyped up moron price. I couldn't get one period. And I have been going to these three shops for years, they have never tried to bs me around with stuff. This sucks.
  13. I went to the local gun shop yesterday to "invest" in a 3rd Saiga 12. When I got there, they informed me that the Saiga 12's have been outlawed. Not sure if I believed it. I went to the next local gun shop, exact same story. I went to a third gun shop today, same story. Is this true, and if so, when on earth did this go into effect?
