  1. I know the guy who wrote this--he is a lawyer in St. Louis.
  2. Thanks all for the well wishes! Had a home cooked dinner and a really good time! Much appreciated.
  3. Been getting it on my Firefox browser past few days instead of going to my email acct.
  4. Locking thread for now per OP's request. Reopen later when items available cleaned up.
  5. Yeah, not sure about the hole in the blade.
  6. They are quite hefty and solidly built. Bet it would hold up well.
  7. Yep, it's knife sharp. Couldn't find any currently on the market. Friend of mine picked it up when he was in Prague.

    Pauly

Please confine posts to the multiple already- existing Pauly threads.
  9. Apparently dug out of storage in a Murmansk warehouse from when the US gave Russia arms and supplies during WWII.
  10. VZ 58 prototype pouch with side pocket for cleaning kit, never went into production. CZ 52 prototype holsters--black one intended to mount in armored car; green canvas was determined too flimsy to be issued for general use. AP 67 prototype .308 magazine and bolt, basically a slightly larger version of the VZ 58. Only seen in museums.
  11. With Circle 11 stamp, 1955. AK style blade but not a bayonet.
  12. Model 92. Next model was 96 so not that many produced.
  13. Recently ran across one of these. Not unknown, but hard to find.
  14. Too cool. Most of my meteorites are in their raw form. If your kids didn't tell you the full story, what you have there is a slice from an iron meteorite, that has been treated with acid to make the crystalline structure visible. Really nice gift! I don't have any children that I'm aware of. My brothers and I are taking my father out for dinner tonight after he closes his shop. I did some research and it's part of the Gibeon Meteorite, prehistoric impact, discovered in 1836 in the Kalahari Desert in Namibia. Possible origins are the Moon, Mars, the meteor belt between Mars and Jupiter
  15. One of my kids got me a four billion year old meteorite. Looks like something you need to shove into Optimus Prime's chest.
