    .264 lbc / 6.54 Grendel barrel and bolt came Friday and were installed today. Had to go towards the high end of the torque on the barrel to get the gas tube aligned but the bolt drops right in. For my only AR build ever I feel pretty good.

    Assembled an AR lower this weekend for the 1st and last time, too many little springs and pins to be a fun hobby.

      When I drove long haul truck, we got paid Detention Pay, for any delay of 3hrs or more, $10.hr, minimum 3hrs... First 3 hrs I was griping to get loaded/unloaded, after that I was smiling... More than a few times crews would ask why I suddenly didn't care about time?

      If your replacing the unit I suggest going for the new energy efficient ones. They save a lot on your power bill. And power is not getting cheaper.

      Contractor buddy got me a new Nordyne package for $1,300.00, got another buddy that will put it in for 5 to 7 hundred and have a couple of window units while I wait. Too old, tired, and fat to get too hot.

      Just got through a few crappy months myself, I hope things look up for you. Remember, everything in life is sweeter when you've been tasting shit for awhile!

      Hey you are lucky. My furnace from 82 died so tat was upgraded to high efficiency. Central AC was finally installed too. That was a HUGE credit card bill.

       

      I strongly suggest a hi Eff furnace for resale purposes and a new AC unit that has a high SEER rating and a scroll motor. SCroll motors are more quiet. Have fun deciding.
