  1. of course if these animals showed up with Tec 9s in hand and were shot by a home owner the story would be a group of young black moose hunters on their way to church had a car break down and were murdered by a racist they begged for help. that would be all over the national news for months, this won't.
  2. I've got one in the 9mm / G17 model, had it for several years now and as I get older tend to use it more than the pistols. As someone pointed out the original stocks leave something to be desired but I've cut it and reshaped it to a better fit for me. Old picture attached, I'll post a new one with the stock cut later. Mine has run flawlessly and isn't bad on accuracy not a tack driver but I can hit more with it than my pistol at a pretty good range. I bought it when I was using a stainless frame on my G24 and had a spare frame laying around, when I sold the stainless frame I bought a used fra
  3. I wanted a luger till I had a luger, nice to look at a felt great in my hand but kind of temperamental on ammo and functioning. none of my glocks have ever been problem children, but they ain't pretty. my luger didn't look like the one above either other than general shape, by the time I got it, it had seen better days.
  4. I blame glock that most if not all polymer framed and striker action pistols look the way they do. usually good guns but just lack style.
  5. when I'm reading the stuff the government is putting out about legalized pot will lead to stoned bunnies that don't run away from you is a major factor in if pot should be legal. the rest of the parts of the constitution now just seem kind of small and silly in the hands of our elected officials.
  6. I want a 1917 and a S&W 22 caliber revolver like a kit gun or model 17 but everyone of them I've found where priced out of my range. I parted company with my last 1911 the other day but still have a lot of 45 ACP stuff in the hope that some day a 1917 will fall into my lap. This 38 may prove to be my new 22 seeing how I can't find a gun in that caliber at a price I want and 22 ammo is still hard to find and pricey if you do find it. I've got a 5 gal bucket of 38 brass so a little time needed at the reloading press and I have a plinker. Nice pistol you've got there.
  7. This is a “you have to be shitting me” auction. There is so much here that it could absolutely ruin a pile of money big enough to burn a wet elephant. Ed http://jamesdjulia.com/373_shs/
  8. S&W model 10 in 38 Spl. made in 1969 serial number D95,XXX. Shows very very little use, not a lot of rounds ever went down the tube. By and large the finish is great there were a couple of spots on the backstrap and the bottom of the trigger guard that pretty much cleaned up with a little metal polish. Paid $400 seem like a good deal so time will tell. I'm getting closer to going all revolvers on the pistols other than will more than likely keep 1 Glock.
  9. they like to play with fire so the use of a lot of napalm everywhere he might be till they hand him over to get the bombing to stop. then pick the next name on the list and repeat as many times as necessary till you have them all.
  10. I have long believed if I wanted an agenda to move forward I would try to get it backed by only 4% of the population. That 4% is what percent of the population is said to be "gay". Get them to push a pro gun agenda and in less than 10 years chances are we could all have government supplied machineguns and ammo. Seems like corksuckers got them some political skills that us 50+% that are gun owners lack.
  11. The ad as I ran it: For sale or trade: This is for a Uberti 1873 Hombre .357 Mag. Box and factory paperwork with gun. Very slightly used about 10 shots out of the gun and comes with the old used Bianchi lawman holster shown. I’m looking for a good 22 or 45 ACP revolver, Remington 1100 20 gage, or an O/U shotgun in 12 or 20 gage, maybe a Glock. I figure roughly a ballpark figure of $325.00 for the lot, but I'll talk about it if someone has an offer. I live in Laurel Hill. Some of his replies: What's your cash prices Phil hurry up and msg me I got cash After the sale: Great deal wit
  12. well did the trade and picked up the mini 14 today, it's a stainless 182 series that has seen very very little use and has been maintained like it belonged to a former Marine (prior owner was). the factory wood is flawless and right now it has an aftermarket folding stock on it and a 4X scope kind of like the old ones made for mounting to the M16 / AR carry handle, plus a pinned on flash suppressor. I'll get a couple of pictures before I break it down and see how I like the factory wood on it the aftermarket stock just doesn't seem to fit me just right and the scope isn't what I'm looking fo
  13. 357 uberti 1873 cattleman hombre, a while back tanners had a pile of them for 250 each I bought 2 with consecutive serial numbers thinking I was going to play cowboy action shooter again, punked out decided not to play again and just sat on the guns for a couple of years.
  14. reliability is fine actually, shoots pretty well on accuracy too, the striker spring in the upper is so stiff even with a 3.5 lb connector the trigger pull is still pretty rough. I got it when I had a spare frame while I was using the stainless frame on my 24. I liked it well enough I bought a used glock frame for it after I sold the stainless frame.
  15. I have declared my 9mm glock carbine my "22", it has the draw back of nobody has powder right now but at todays 22 prices I can shoot cast reloaded 9mm and the best part is every time I hit a beer can it moves with a 22 not so much.
  16. He sent me: “Not say u did it but someone scribbled out the price tag on the side of the box I saw the gun only costed 258 new so glad u goxt your money back + extra.......” I’d gotten a pretty damn good deal on the guns / bought 2 for 250 each and sat on them awhile recently sold 1 on gunbroker for 365 with shipping and sold this guy the other one for 340 with a hundred rounds of 357 and 25 of 38s. He’d shot up about ½ the ammo so I said bring me the gun, left over ammo, and the brass and I’ll give you 310 back, 30 to cover the shot up ammo and a little wear and tear added on the gun th
  17. seems like the guy who did this was generally known in the area as being just pure nuts at best, ran around with a gun playing the parking police. so no one had previously contacted the real police about this village idiot with a gun and a problem with how and where people parked? what I read was this pin head would have taken a shot at the pope if the pope mobile was parked where it bothered him, he didn't shoot 3 muslims he shot 3 people who pissed him off over parking. this guy is a poster boy for people who shouldn't even own a steak knife let alone a firearm, but no one reported him it se
  18. Sold a guy a gun on a local peer to peer site, gun was one I’d bought a few years ago fired it a few times and realized I just wasn’t into it. Nothing wrong with the gun shot fine still had the box and paperwork with it pretty much was like new other than a few shots I’d fired. I didn’t hide the fact I’d shot the gun in the ad and when the guy paid and picked up the gun plus some ammo he bought off me he was happy. He and his wife went out shot the gun and were even happier with their purchase, every things good. Got an email from him asking about reloading the brass, I said get up with me the
  19. I've got a buddy who is Joe Pro Ruger who said he'll do a trigger job on it and I'll love it. I've got 2 kind of .223 and one 5.56 ammo on hand to play with. I'm not poking holes in paper at matches anymore so even a gun that shoots 2 or 3 inch groups will be fine now days, if it shoots better great if not oh well. As part of another trade I just dropped off my last AR so the only rifle I have is a Mech Tech Glock CCU with a very cheap red dot on it, so chances are the Ruger will be my most accurate rifle without trying very hard. Still got about 800 round of ammo that will feed it. Kind o
  20. Looks like I'm getting one Monday as part of a trade. Always liked the look of them but I don't think I ever shot a round out of one, always went with an AR. Any one here into or have any range time with one?
  21. yeah a gun or 2 is important for hog hunting but from the TV shows the important part is getting a good hunting partner for a good hunt go with something along this line and it will all be fine
