  1. mine cycles it on setting 1, also a three hole gun...... I have only had one stovepipe in about three hundred rounds.
  2. I run the bulk fed ammo on setting one..... i've had one fail to eject in about the last three hundred rounds so I am keeping it set that way so to answer the question..... No reason to change the setting
  3. I just get the 100 round Federal for about $20.95 if I remember right.... also in Albuquerque
  4. the 10 round mags seem to fit ok in a pouch for the 30 round AR mags... the AR pouch is a little short, but still holds it just fine. Is there anything better that is easy to pick up? In time I think i'm going to custom make my own pouches for the ten round mags... but I don't have time to right now.
  5. If it's K-VAR, they ARE a business member.... Post away! http://www.k-var.com...09&cat=0&page=1 the place I got it was not.... but go with K-Var same price and is a business member
  6. I just got the IZ-109 (19" saiga 12) online for $469 plus shipping and FFL. The FFL I use only charges $15 and it was $20 shipping. Also buying online saves you the tax so I only had to pay tax on the $15 FFL fee. So all told it was about $505 for the shotgun. I converted it myself using the kit from Carolina Shooting Supply which I would highly recommend. The trigger guard (CSS one) is all threaded and makes it really easy to install everything. So after that it added $139.99 to the total price. So the converted model doing it myself cost $645. From what i've seen buying an already converted
  7. as far as I know.... if it is all stock you can add any choke to it... but you can not use any type of high cap mags. You have to keep the factory five round one. I think you only have to worry about parts counts if you remove it from the sporting setup by changing the stock, adding a pistol grip, or using high cap mags. Hope this helps and someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
  8. ok, a little off topic... but I am interested in reloading for the Saiga .223 and am wondering about the dented side of the case. Is it still safe to reload? or should I make some kind of buffer to keep it from getting dented before I start any reloading?
  9. I am looking for a recoil pad that screws into the stock instead of the butt plate... I don't know if something like this is made, but I was thinking something where you take the two screws out of the end of the stock and screw a recoil pad into that spot.... has anyone seen anything like this?
  10. ya, call around for pawn shops and such... getting gun shops to do the transfers will cost way more. I don't live in california anymore but around here the gun shops charge anything from $35 to $100 to do the FFL transfer but the pawn shop I go to only charges $15
  11. I am confused by this question... are some of you able to go an extended amount of time without shooting one of these? I only ask because I find myself at the range about two or three times a week without even planning to go. I don't understand how you could "store" this thing...

    Suppressors

What type is that? and where could I find info on it? Most of the silenced shotguns i've seen are crazy long and that one is really cool looking. Thanks for any info.
  13. I would scream "GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN" but I see you already shot it...... I hope you have lots of disposable income to buy ammo
  14. I think the main issue you have is that you think an AK has to be right on spec to be dependable. It is an AK and they are rough, crude, and built like shit, but they still work. If you want a firearm that is perfectly on spec an AK is not the first thing I would suggest. Now to answer some of the questions you have. It could clog the gas port if the port is to small... its a small chance and it could clog a gas port that is to spec. Now it will not clog in 10 rounds that you might depend on to defend yourself. I would just suggest that you open the plug and make sure it is not clogged wh
