  1. I have had this thing for a while now and its a great scope but I can't find its model anywhere. Im looking to sell it and I was hoping to find out what is a good price point is. Hell just any solid information would be good. Here is a gallery http://imgur.com/a/0ZESV
  2. Judging from their suppressors and their show I would not be surprised if they did more to harm the gun than help.
  3. Here is mine with the 20 inch barrel.
  4. you are an IDIOT Jesus Christ. Tumbling reference to how it tumbled in flesh.
  5. Posted this a few times but once more won't hurt. They are really cheap, lots of wobble, and require a bullet guide. They are also VERY reliable and fantastic!!!! I can't recommend them enough for people with bullet guides.
  6. I have had no problems with SP in my Dinzag bullet guide.
  7. Glad to see no one is screaming that 223 is to small for deer.
  8. I would stay away from HP, SP would be a much better choice. I reload 70gr SP for my saiga for deer works very well.
  9. nope no polishing or anything. Its easy to keep from happening I just have to do full squeezes instead of just delicately pulling it back.
  10. So while doing some 300 yard shooting yesterday i found an interesting thing out about my tapco trigger. A very slow delicate squeeze produces bump firing. Surprised me and first, then i messed around with it some and was getting nice 5 round burst. I am getting use to doing firmer squeezes but I do so love have a super easy bump fire that I can operate from the shoulder.
  11. I tried the steel 35 round surplus ones and the 30 round tapco. The steel surplus is not reliable, it like to feed at too great of an angle and jam (gonna work on fixing that soon) However the Tapco magazines work like a dream!
  12. I just put the dinzag bullet guide in and Tapco Galil 30 rounders work perfect, but the 35 round metal galil surplus have a lot of feed issues.
  13. So I finally got sick of looking at the Galil magazines I had purchased a few months ago and my bullet guide. I kept meaning to take it out to the family farm and use the drill press on it but I kept putting it off. Sitting on my reloading bench with a 19 dollar Black and Decker drill and a pair of pliers, 5 minutes later bullet guide was in! The tapco galil magazine works great but the metal surplus magazines i have don't feed reliably, they seem to feed the bullet at too steep of an angle and it gets jammed. Super happy with it, plan on buying 4 or 5 more tapco galil magazines today. Another
  14. Thanks for the replies, I will probably end up getting an AK 74 sight for it and hope for the best.
  15. I really want to replace my rear sight with a nice peep sight, but everything I find is for the ak47. I would assume the difference in 7.62 vs. 5.56 ballistics would make the distance settings not work correctly. I shoot out to 400 yards right now. Anyone know of a place to get peep sights for the Saiga 223 20 inch barrel model? Something like the Mojo Micro Click Rear Ghost Ring Sight AK-47 Steel Blue on mindwayusa would be amazing. also while I think about it, I am getting ready to thread my barrel and was wondering what people like for reducing the climb.
  16. I think that that is a very good price. I considered myself lucky to find 500 brown bear for 120 bucks at the last gun show. Prices seem to be going up all around again.
  17. Scope is very nice but its a bit heavy. Adjustment is amazingly simple and the build in "lens caps" are really really nice. http://www.bsaoptics...x?productID=299
  18. My first Saiga, hooked on them. GOnna have to get a 5.45 next.
  19. Well just got back from the range with my new to me Saiga 223 20 in barrel and managed 1 moa at 50 yards with federal 55gr fmj. Also found out the twist rate is 1 in 9, overall i am very happy. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a replacement rear sight. Also I am looking to thread the barrel. Which break reduces the recoil the best, reacquiring the target is taking to long. Also for all you reloaders what is the heaviest bullet you have had accuracy with?
  20. Oh i realize that, not trying to imply anything negative towards Dinzag. I even ordered the extra stuff from him, even though it was more expensive, because I wanted to support what he is doing. I was just hoping that the 1-2weeks was an exaggeration Looks like I will be feeding my new saiga 223 1 round at a time for a week or so
  21. hey I know it says 1-2 weeks but i am praying that it doesn't! I got my saiga 223 coming friday and don't have a magazine for it, ordered it a bullet guide and some other stuff from danzig. Anyone get theirs sent sooner?
