  1. Hi, guys/gals, My absence has been due to training and work. I'll try and scare-up a photo. Hope all is well, -Kyrinn
  2. Got mine yesterday. They are beautiful. I'm glad I waited for 'em. THANKS!
  3. LoL. Okay. At least I'm 'suffering' in good company, then.
  4. How many of us haven't received our Pre-Order Mags yet, besides me?
  5. I've fired Black Hills 175gr. BTHP out of mine. Dead-on accurate at 100 yards. 180 should be, as well. The Bear ammos. are dirty, propellent-wise; tend to be hotter than other loads; and in my experience, less accurate (possibly because they're hot). I run Golden Bear 62gr. BTSP through my AR15s with 0-incidents. Nice and hot
  6. Blender, It is absolutely the nicest trigger I've ever experienced. If my AR15 triggers would be that nice... I've barely shot it, though. Thanks again.
  7. LoL. Yeah, I'm hangin' in there. Busy building ARs at the moment. I've got a bad case of Black Rifle Disease. Looking forward to showing off the 20-rounders when they arrive. Keep on keepin'-on, -Kyrinn
  8. I think I'm the only 'her' on here. I'll have all the pleasure I can handle when I get my magazines. ! BTW, the ribbed look is wicked-cool. Well see, all the more reason for the joke to have been made earlier

  10. Really, very good looking. I'm glad I've waited. Repentent, -Kyrinn
  11. --> QUOTE(G O B @ Sep 25 2006, 06:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A little polishing of the mating surfaces goes a long way. The trigger on mine is a long first step of a two step action, the second step is short and crisp. Don't forget the power of Permatex Anti-seize paste. It penetrates the metal, and increases lubricity/decreases friction. Use it in the pins, and the bearing surfaces after you've polished them. Costs about $4.50 for a jar. Best,
  12. Don, Here it is, under "Limited' http://www.arsenalinc.com/slr106fr.htm Best,
  13. Harpoon, Thanks for the encouragement. I've been less than thrilled with the surplus stuff I've bought, and while BH 175GR BTHP are dead-on accurate, that's way too rich for my blood. I just can't afford shooting even Winchester 147gr. HPs with the same regularity I do fire Rem. UMC 55gr .223. Here's a photo of my new crush: The MSRP is about $850.-- They're usually worth 10 men in terms of marksmanship as well. BRG3, I don't rip through my 5.56 supply unless I'm checking functionality of a short gas system, such as in my 7.3". O
  14. Apologetic PM sent, Pvt. Best, -Kyrinn
  15. Got it already installed on a converted rifle. I remember discussing it with the gentleman I traded my SLR-105R to for it. He said he'd not only done the conversion and install, but 'fiddled' with the trigger until he got it as he liked it. It is a beauty to pull. She'll put you in line behind a couple of others. Dinzag has first dibs if I do sell the mags separately. Best, -Kyrinn When I get the photos together, I'll put them up in the Items for Sale or Trade, so as not to miff the Admin(s). Best, -Kyrinn
  16. Sir, I don't remember blaming you for my boredom. I did state that the .308 is a pricey gun to shoot, and that it is big and heavy to tote around. You clearly have nothing to do with either of those. Thanks for your effort, and my apologies for causing you any grief in venting my woes about this gun. Truth be told, I'd love to sell her and my 16" AR15 carbine so I can generate funds to buy a new Arsenal SLR-106FR, which again, is no reflection on the magazine delay. So, please, take it easy, and, FYI, I'm a chick, so next time, please refer to me as Dudette. Calmly a
  17. ...bored waiting for these Mags? I'm thinking of selling my .308 once the three (3) 20-rounders are in my possession. The calibre is too expensive for plinking, and it is a damn heavy rifle to lug around. If anyone is interested in a converted, super-nice triggered Saiga .308, make me an offer. -Kyrinn
  18. Hee-Hee. Tell her she looks great with her glasses and to never think she doesn't. Very cute. Best,

    Fixed .308

    Cool. That's good to hear.

    .308 Ammo

The NATO stuff I've fired is very innaccurate. Winchester 147gr. white-box was spot-on at 50 yds. (the range was flooded -- didn't slog any further out) On another trip, Black Hills 175gr. BTHP was dead-on at 100 yards. Pricey, but it is worth it if one MUST fire at that distance and be accurate. I haven't fired the Blk.Hls. 168gr, yet Best,
  21. WOW! The family resemblance is very pronounced there... Thanks for posting that pic! The Shift; All Murder, All Guts, All Fun; and The Howl are my faves from the first Samhain album.
  22. His real name is Glenn Allen Anzalone, and is apparently a cousin of my sweetheart. I'm more a fan of his Misfits and Samhain days, but the first Danzig album is pretty darned good. Best, Just my first name. I'm Kyrinn Synthea Eis (pron. 'Ice') in the real world.
