mine is pronounced Vannie - K Its a mix of my last name and 1st name. Vann was always my nickname throughout sports and stuff as well, so it all came together easily

I had the cops pull guns on me when I had just moved to California from Michigan. (my friend was mistakenly identified as a bank robber--long story short we were let go) when you walk out in to an alley and hear "Get your fucking hands up" and there are 2 cops with guns pointed at you, that's a very sobering experience lol. Then of course I had the whole hands on the hood of the car while one cop searched me and the other kept his gun on me. I asked them if I could be cuffed instead of having a gun on me, they didn't find it too funny. Needless to say they apologized after the whole ordeal

I love this site, and don't want to cause issues, so I just made it a non issue. Sorry it caused crap, like I said before I didn't mean for it to. Now I'm going to go back to the thread about the drunk guy using his CCW...

none of the other sites I've posted on (I'm a member there as well) has had an issue with it. So if there is an issue, I am completely fine with this thread being deleted. It was never my intention to piss people off. And yeah I was trying to win a shiny new gun, I guess that is personal gain, but you don't get help unless you ask, so all I did was ask. I didn't see that others were doing the same thing I was either And no it probably doesn't contribute to the forum, but neither do footballs scores, what you ate for dinner or anything not related specifically to Saiga's in the case

Any updates on this? My Saiga just came in to my FFl, going to pick it up tomorrow and I think I need this for sure! I read through the thread, but JUST to make sure, I can call in and order a DIY kit? Has production started on them yet?

Heading to a gun show next weekend, hoping to find one there, if not will just place an order. I know I'm not going to find one dirt cheap anywhere, just looking for a good deal
