Spent ALL day with the daughters ex-husband, his girl friend and the grand babies, the little urchins shot up 2 bricks of 22LR, about 200 .401 shells, about 300 9mm, and an assortment of other calibers. I only shot 3 rounds total, but it was a GREAT day.

Got a "package" today from BC/BS. Our insurance cost is going up about 50% in January. Ain't Obummer care just FRICKING Great. They can stick this as far up his ass as they can get it, NOT MINE.

To who ever on here suggested getting the Lyman M die, THANK YOU. I loaded 100 38sp rounds this afternoon, and they looked better than factory. The die worked like a dream, and ordering 1 for all my other calibers.

Were you having problems with conventional dies not flaring enough or swaging your bullets down? I've read about M dies, but I haven't found that I needed them. If I have any shaving, I just set my flare/powder die a bit deeper.
I do know that my RCBS dies I use for .38 Spl are very picky about alignment and they tend to hang up easily if the shell wiggles even a little and will crush a shell that is 1/32" off to the side. So I used a dremel with a round stone to flar...

My Rhino 60DS arrived back at Chiappa on Tuesday for repairs. Hope they fix the light primer strike problem.

Friend gave me 2 pieces of what he said was "bullet proof" glass, plexiglass actually. It will NOT stand up to 30 06 @ 50 yards, 45 cap bounced off @ 10 yards, but it shattered all to hell. This stuff is 1 1/8" thick and fun to shoot

Make a sandwich with a 1/2" thick plate of duct tape in the middle. You'll be surprised at what that will stop.

Only about 200 more cases to go, and I'll have COMPLETELY processed, de-cap,size,trim, ream & deburr 1500 .223 cases this week end. OH my damn fingers are tired.

A friend and I completely processed 970 pieces of .308 brass this week, including priming them. Just need to find some bullets - we already have powder.

I built 200 308s from the ground up yesterday. Relatively new to reloading but my total reloads are starting to catch my factory stuff, numbers wise.

Was "straightening" up the "big" safe this afternoon, arranging the top shelf and found a Taurus 45 that I didn't even know was there. The wife said she didn't buy it and I don't remember buying it, it's used, but in GREAt shape, factory case, 2 mags, and keys for the lock. God only knows what I'll find on the next shelf.

I have never got any money in my life other than from my pay check. I had a rich Uncle and didn't get a dime, even though I worked for him for 11 years. If I asked for a couple hundred bucks, they would look at me like I'm crazy. Just stand your ground and say no.

When I bought my Mossberg 500, the examiner tried repeatedly to ignore the fact that I had a UPIN#, thankfully the clerk was hip to the situation and pressed the point... He was actaully transferred to a another (supervisor) who immediately gave a 'Proceed'... I had to wait 8months for that UPIN, but it beats getting 'Delayed' every time I buy a firearm.
