I could have drilled a 7/16" hole, tapped for 1/4 npt, installed grease fitting and 6 shots of IGL2 grease for 50% less than hospital bill, AND left you with 5 cases of beer.
That crap ain't no fun, but get moving and soak in warm water to loosen the joints while MOVING said joints, it worked on both my shoulders, doctor freaked out when I had full motion after 1 1/2 week, he said use ice, ice made it hurt worse. Now they want to cut on my back.

Years ago I actually had to call the IRS and tell them my Rotty eat my refund check, I could hear the lady on the other end busting a gut laughing, then she reminded me that when I get the replacement check, "to be sure and deposit it", hell, it only sat on the table for 1 day.

Two of them have been sitting in salt water brine since Monday night, I drain water every morning, re-ice and salt, going to cut them up Saturday, vacuum bag/seal then off to the deep freeze. The wife wants to grind some of it up into sausage, so I got to buy a new 1/4hp meat grinder.
Still have to secure the trap and start baiting it again, also saw a 10 point, a six point and 2 nice size does down there when I changed the camera card yesterday. Gut piles are all but gone, thanks to coyotes.
Chile is correct, the meat will have the taste of what they have been eating, there's a LOT of acorns, hickory nut and some walnuts around down there, so I'm hoping for some good tastey pork, and yes, they are lean, not like store bought meat

Have to make a few "repairs/modifications" to the trap, them sum bitch pigs went ape shit crazy, bent some stuff and actually moved the whole thing about 2 feet, even with pipe drove into the ground and fastened to it, but where it's at a used to be a pond, so the poles will have to be driven deeper in the ground, they are at about 3-4 feet now, maybe after the mods, Chile will get a pig to grill for us, but you're gonna need a bigger smoker.

Been seeing these on the cameras, but didn't expect them to get in the trap this soon, there was 6 in there to start with, but 2 little ones squeezed thru the fence, anyway, 4 sows ain't too bad. Free meat always taste better.

It's in North Birminham, the old guy had lived there forever, it used to be a mainly white neighborhood, but years ago, they started moving out, some chose to stay, when uh, shall we say, it started going down hill. I sometimes take a "short cut" off I-65, thru there to hit I20/59 to avoid the shit at the junction. Don't go there without protection, and I don't mean condoms, unless you're looking for that stuff. Most of the older black people are really good people, but the young ones are just plain thug shit asswipes. I grew up on the west side of B'ham, place was called Little Italy and you could actually walk the streets at night, if you did something wrong, the phone lines would be burning up before you got home, all that is gone now, nothing but section 8 housing, rebuilt "brick yards" "to improve the standard of living", thugs and dope. Birmingham is a shit hole, run by shit heads that think they are owed something because they have been oppressed.
We moved our business out of Birmingham 9 years ago after being broken into and robbed, 3 nights in a row, B'ham PD looked me in the eye and said we where the wrong color to be there, when I complained to the mayors office about what was said, the skank laughed at me on the phone.
Just look at who's in the white house and who's running the cities that are either shit or going that way real quick, and you'll see the problem. If you're black, white, green, brown, pink or purple and have any amount of smarts, you wouldn't live in these places.
This old man was just living his life, trying to take care of his neighborhood, and some damn crack head thug decided he would show his manhood by beating and killing and old man, there ain't a place hot enough in hell for this little pussy. I bet if the right words where said in the jail, he wouldn't make it out.

22LR, good can, and some of the CCI quite shells. Shoot out of a window that no one can see you from. My little brother worked nights, neighbors dog barked all day, they refused to do anything about, little shit laid a 30 06 out the bedroom window and solved the problem, when our father got there, he was in bed asleep with po po banging on the door, nobody saw anything, only heard a big boom. Ole man knew what happened, but brother never fessed up, even to daddy, and swore to shoot me if I ever told him. Daddy has passed away, so I can tell it now, and YES, he cleaned the gun before going back to bed, so po po didn't smell anything in the gun.

I'm northwest of Birmigham, little hole in the wall called West Jefferson. Working on getting the trap set up. I've had cameras set up for 3 months and have never got a daytime pic, but I did get this one today, he came thru yesterday, along with 3 does.

Hey Elvis,
Long time no hear. Will be working on the cage on Sunday. The hogs have changed their feeding times to around midnight or after, just TOO DAMN COLD to sit out there and wait, plus, have to go to the shop and try and make the wife some money during the week. I haven't tried stalking them thru the woods yet, but from all the "experts" around here say, they are walking he river bank. I'm not so sure if you sit back and look at trails going thru the brush. Going to go down in the morning and change out the cards in the cameras and see if anything is stirring around, did get a pic of 4 point buck down there on Monday morning.
Maybe me, you & Chili can do a hog killing one weekend.

Won't have to pay me Chili, I'll supply ammo and gun if needed, even split the meat with you. I made same offer to guy down the road, all I hear is crickets from him, bought the double wide tree stand with ladder, set it up, set up 2 cameras, buying all the corn, spreding corn myself, and gave him 40 rounds of .308 SP ammo, I GUESS IT's TO HARD to sit in a free tree stand, with free ammo, shooting over free corn, for free hogs.
I bought the hog panels and even asked if he'd help build the cage, "yeh, I'll help", still no help. I'll build the damn thing myself, drag it into the woods myself, set it up myself, and EAT THE HOGS MYSELF.
I don't mind helping someone that "needs help", but DAMN, am I going to have to cook it too? I think I've learned my lesson on this one.

Was sitting out in the tree stand at night for weeks, got too damn cold, I guess the suckers figured out when I was coming and going. So now, I'm building an 8x8 cage with a root door. Going to set it up down by the river and see what I get, maybe late next week. Other camera caught a nice little buck near the corn pile, but he's not really big enough to shoot, I'm mainly after the hogs. Most I've seen in pictures is 15 feeding at one time, there is also a HUGE sow. Hope to get the upright freezer filled up with free pork pretty soon.

Bet your smoker won't hold what I'm after. Him and about 15 of his friends are runnin a muck behind the house, down by the river. Been sitting in the tree stand after dark, but too damn cold, and I could swear that I could them out in the woods laughing at my ass, shivering and cussing, so next thing is to build a trap, then I get the last laugh. Makes your butt draw up walking 75 yards thru the pitch black woods back to the 4 wheeler hearing trees knocked around with grunting and snorting.

Cool Chili,
Have you installed bearings, really big bearings using oil and a high pressure pump. I never dreamed that a bearing race could be expanded that much, but there again, 10,000 psi or better does wierd stuff. I lost $50.00 in a bet with an older guy that taught me a lot of neat tricks.

Used to get it ALL the time, had a pony tail down to my ass. After my daddy had his stroke, I told him that I would only get a hair cut if he'd get up and learn to walk again, SO, it grew really long. Cops used to screw with me every day on the way home from work, I drove and old beater Ford truck and took the short cut thru the not so nice side of town. After a while, I got to enjoy busting their balls when they'd stop me, but when daddy started to walk with his walker, I did startle the hell out of him that day when I walked into the house and looked "human".

I'd swear we are married into the same family, that's probally why you haven't seen me at the get togethers.
Take care of you and yours, cause nobody else will. I've even had to tell my daughter to not come over here and sheriff knows if she does, she's to be charged with trespassing, but after talking with the sheriff when she called them out here on us, he told me that she would go straight to the cross bar motel, I wouldn't have to do anything, THEY WOULD.It all hurts like hell, but you do what you have to do, after trying everything else. We spent almost 20K the first year trying to "help" her, a little less the next, best way to get rid of a leach is to stick a burning match on it, it'll hurt you both a first, but you'll keep your remaining blood, and hopefuly keep on living.
We don't get to see the grandkds a lot, as they now live with their father, but they are doing better now, and that's worth more than all the $.
The peace and quite sure was nice last Thursday.

Rifle- Try the Ruger 10/22, mine shoots great suppressed, also have the 10/22 pistol, it works good too
