I have and "early" pre-ordered from the 1st shipment Vepr 12 that has always run great. It's in stock condition; no mods. I recently got a good deal on some 2.75" slugs and have discovered that my V12 has some gawd awful trigger slap with 1600fps 1oz slugs. I suspect a modified G2 will fix the issue; that's what my S12 has in it and it doesn't slap using the same slugs. Can anyone confirm that this will eliminate the trigger slap?

Before: After: I really liked the wood look, but I fire surplus ammo... I didn't like getting the wood wet when I'd clean it, so I took the Vltor/MOE off the S12 and put it on the rifle. The US Palm/Aimpoint micro system is awesome! It's a little heavier than I'd like but it's taken my speed and accuracy to a new level that my old eyes couldn't have imagined. Today's little project is to swap the the leaf sight with the one on my Draco. I'll be keeping the Bulgy 74 like it is, it's too pretty to make it all evil looking and junk.

The 1st thing I'd do is replace the recoil spring with an "extra power" (XP) spring; here's an example: a Brownells spring.

Bought an '06 this year and it needed a round bullet guide.

I shoot the Yugo too, followed by the GT when I can find it at a good price.... which seems to be harder to do over the last year or so.
