  1. Get some proper training from someone like Practical Firearms Training. http://practicalfirearmstraining.com/
  2. You could always try the "tactical bottle entry tool" sling point they showed off at SHOT. It's a picatinny rail mounted sling point with a bottle opener. http://jtdistributing.net/store/more_a215.html

    Body Armor

I got the only kind you'll ever need.
  4. They made a special magwell that has a release lever on the side. You must also use modified mags rather than standard rock n cock mags http://www.randrtargets.com/saiga_shotgun_parts.htm
  5. Got mine two months ago from CSS for something like $480 shipped. Was shipped to VA crazy fast.
  6. Just pre-ordered a Titan for my Saiga. Can't wait till that puppy is installed!
  7. nope. CSS even lists it as a tac 47 auto plug. http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-642/TAC47-AUTO-PLUG-SAIGA/Detail
  8. Here's mine: Sorry the pics are so dark and blurry. I only had a few min to take the pics and only had my iphone on me. I'll try to get some better pics in a day or so.
  9. I actually just converted my Saiga last week and installed the Shot Stock on mine. Works like a dream. I'll try to get some pics up once I get home tonight.
  10. Amazing work! I have a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering. How is the flashlight lamp mounted? Do you think you could post some pics? Has the flashlight lamp assembly survived the recoil on its own or did you have to do any mods to keep it running? Very slick set up. It really blends with the gun extremely well. I have seen pics of your gun before and never really noticed the light (or if I did it didn't quite register) until I read this thread...
  11. You could use a 200 rd SAW pouch. They are dirt cheap at a surplus store or eBay. There are pics of the MD20 in the pouch further down on this thread: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=61620

    Saiga 12

Does adding a railed fore end remove the Saiga 12s "sporting" status? I've never heard that before. I believe the railed forend counts as a hand guard. If I read correctly, If you change any of the counted parts on the firearm (including magazines) from the sporting configuration it was imported in, then you are non-compliant until you have less than 10 foreign parts remaining on the firearm.

    EOtech

I'm using a Bushnell holosight manufactured by eotech. It's similar to the 512, but doesn't have the extra metal hood. I got it off ebay for $75. Have yet to mount it on the Saiga (waiting for the new Chaos rail) but it works great on my SKS.
  14. Yes, the problem mainly seems to be the width. You literally need to fit them in perfectly as there is no room for 'error' when loading them. It makes loading them in very slow and tedious; not conducive or anything except simply shooting at things at the range. I was considering filing them but wanted to see if anyone else was having issues. They feed fine and I have yet to have a misfeed, but loading them is a pain in the ass. Mine were really tight at first, but broke in very nicely. I would recommend just letting them break in a little before I started sanding.
  15. Hey Corbin, what;s the price on this? I didn't see one. Also, how is this installed, besides removing the gas tube and putting this thing on? Is there more to it? It's a $299 mod that requires you to press off you gas block and remove your gas tube. You then send the gas tube to them to get modded. It also states that its a 10-12 week turn around. The rear sight is also meant to be used with their front sight towers, not the bead sight.
