  1. The curse of a borderline perfectionist is their greatest blessing... Even if it doesn’t feel like it at times. It does make it hard though. Determining when is good enough and when is just splitting hairs. Impossible for a true to the core perfectionist... A true perfectionist can never be satisfied or take pride in something they have done, it is never good enough. Luckily you and I border on being a true perfectionist because the curse of a true perfectionist is only a curse to them and rarely a blessing to others.
  2. Don’t get me wrong. There is a ton of potential in the platform. The main guy working on the platform spotted some of the major issues himself before I even spoke with him so that is encouraging. I offered a bunch of suggestions. I hope they put the time into it. I have zero doubt that if Max Atchisson had stayed on the design and production that it would have been right long ago. I would love so much to take the AA-12 to the next level. That’s why I bought one really... While I was a snot nose kid in the early 80’s Max was working on some the AA-12’s current form less than a mil
  3. I’m not sure what happened here. But dropping the mag and topping it back off won’t have any effect on rim lock. The entire double stack portion of the magazine lets the rims do whatever they want. They rounds can, and do, move around more under recoil than any shoulder high drop could ever have on them. The rims reorient at the very top of the mag after it transitions back to single stack. You can literally take the floor plate off and load it from the bottom and place every single round’s rim in front of the rim above it and by the time they get to the top they have corrected themselves.
  4. I don’t see it lasting under the recoil of actually firing it. I hope no one takes this as a good to go because it would likely be an expensive disappointment. I couldn’t resist making one though, lol.

    Lynx?

So far I’m really liking the Lynx. SDS is insisting on quality. Hammer forged bolts and every one is x-rayed for flaws. In my opinion they are better made than the Saiga-12. Don’t let the $500 price tag scare you away. It is an absolute steal at that price!!!! They do have a factory buffer which I think should be removed. Those were almost always trouble in a Saiga-12. The gas system could have a better plug and piston but the plug is definitely better than the factory Saiga plug. Some seem to have a break in period for low power ammo. They seem to be better out of
  6. It is a follower arm that nest into the sprocket. You can see the end of it to the left of the scoop. I wanted to do this with the MD-20 but ran out of prototyping money and had to roll with it as originally designed. It replaces the need for the dummy round and the follower. Each of which took up a shell space. The MD-20 could have been the MD-22, lol...
  7. Pretty over priced. Even with the Stainless there isn’t $3000 of gun there. Most people will be extremely disappointed too because the recoil control is out the window in closed bolt semiauto. They are riddled with design flaws as well. They are basically all dialed in by hand and even then full of problems. That is why no respectable military would ever touch them. You have to have drop in replacement parts and can’t expect to have an AA-12 expert everywhere to remodify the new part... If you watch most videos close you will see them trying to hide jams. Even the Future Weapons e
  8. Don’t worry guys! A double stack for the Saiga-12 is back on the table. It’s happening one way or another. I’d prefer to just license it out but I’m not going to wait much longer before I do it personally. If someone hasn’t snatched before I have the capital myself it will be me... I’d really like to move on to other things. I have a patent in the work that will rewrite the story of drums and a patent in the works that will make the recoil system of the AK-107 scamper home... Honestly I’m most excited about the recoil system because it can work with basically any rifle, shotgun, carbine,
  9. Someone has done it, lol. I’ve never tried to fire it but it cycles manually. I don’t think it’s a very practical mod though.
  10. Last I spoke to ccspecs they weren’t confidant the internal geometry could be stamped reliably and they were very backed up in other jobs.
  11. Guys, I am not at all happy with the retail price either. The high price isn’t because of me. In my opinion the 20rd should be $80 at the most! Also the patent doesn’t expire until 2033. My licensing deal may not be as lucrative as some think either. It got them out and the world knows it’s possible now though. I also now have a industry giant interested in protecting the patent which is worth a lot. The licensing agreement on this specific patent is only good for a Mossberg shotgun. They can’t make them for other shotguns and I can’t license someone else to make mag

  13. I was mistaken. It is 1 of 10 semiautos ever made. I have serial number X002. The semi actually doesn’t have the coteolability of the fullauto. The full fires from an open bolt so the massive carrier and bolt slam home as the round is firing which transfers that motion forward against the recoil. The constant recoil system does prevent a sharp recoil impulse but the open bolt is the true key. If you watch the videos closely you will notice a couple give aways. First, when the first round is fired the bolt is released from a much shorter distance to close. The first round in a burst wil
  14. I am making a drive to pick up an AA-12 Shotgun tomorrow. It is 1 of only 12 semiauto versions ever made. Of course I’ll be fixing the Semi issue... I’ll post some pics and stuff but likely not tomorrow. It will be a very long day for me with a minimum of 11 hours drive time.
  15. By brain surgery are you referring to a .22 caliber injection at the stem? That’s the only cure I know of, lol.
  16. I am glad they are out! One of the stupidest things that happened over the Obamination... I know a gay guy that thought it was ridiculous as well. While I can’t relate to someone being gay there are definitely people that are born that way through genetics and it is so wrong of us as a people to throw them all in one basket. Just like everyone else there are good ones and evil ones...
  17. Here is a concept I made. 23rds. This one can also load on a closed bolt, activate the last round bolt hold open and doesn’t bust like a melon or damage the internal sprocket if dropped fully loaded let alone empty. The pic makes it look like the tower area is longer but it does fit flush to the magwell... I was totally scratching my head the first time I saw the 25rd drum. Crazy how much bigger it is for just 2 more rounds. A perfect example on the difference design can make in a product...
  18. I played with this at Shot Show. It really wasn’t bad in weight. I totally didn’t like it though. It was very cumbersome for me to handle. Having to manually rotate the tubes every 5 rounds would be such a pain too. Couldn’t even imagine trying it in a high stress situation. Reloading would absolutely suck. Just inspecting it seemed if you had a jam in a hot situation you would be screwed and better off to drop and pull your pistol, even if well covered with space, time and distance from the perps being well in your favor. I think we will see all these multi-tube designs fade away and

  20. Here is my thought... It would be wise to continue reading it even after finding it may not support somes conspiracy/false flag story desire. It’s easy for people to want there to be more to a story than there really is. Don’t fall into that and open your mind to some real facts... The very first time I heard the videos I knew it was bumpfire. It was plain as day to me and no question about it... I told this to many people including law enforcement friends that it was bumpfire and they all said no way that it was true fullauto. I simply told them, “Wait and see...” They saw... T
  21. Yep!!! And don’t let the media convince you that people are turning on Trump. His support was large enough to beat the elites rigged system. That showed me just how much support he has. That support is growing by the day too and not shrinking. You all know just how sick everyone is and how close everyone is to seriously considering stringing up the elite by ropes. Not just here in America but the whole damn world. If it happens they will have absolutely no where to hide either. I hope things remain peaceful myself though.
