  1. Hey, let's get this straight. I put it against the tree because I'm a big puss. No, I put it against the tree to reduce the forces on the front mag catch. All of those videos of me firing off of a tree was with prototype mags of greatly reduced strength compared to production mags. I did it to keep them from coming apart and breaking, even then it didn't prevent it all the time. The rest of this isn't pointed at you either but just some answers on the question. Weight does matter. First, how a gun is held will affect the function of the gun regardless if it is gas operated. In theory
  2. That's blasphemy to the old-timers who insist prices will never go back down. Well, they're right, in some regard. Have you ever seen the scanned magazine articles some of the forum vets here have posted? Something like $200 for an S12 and like $160 for the x39 Saigas. Insanity! <---off to buy a DeLorean to go back in time and buy some up. but those were preorder prices no? i thought i heard that those prices were supposed to be the ones, but then when they finally got in country, they ended up at the price we have now (aruond 400) They were actually blow out prices b
  3. PIZDA, You need to check out the Speer Lawman rounds. They are reduced recoil 8 pellet 00 Buck (maybe a wee bit more punch than Federal bulk pack). Out of a 19inch Saiga-12 they will hold a 5 inch pattern at 25 yards with no flyers!!! They was designed so LE could take hostage shoots to the head out to this range. Anything closer and it is a lot like a slug but without the massive penetration. This stuff is really incredible. At 50 yards I was getting around 10 to 12 inch patterns from a 19 inch Saiga-12 with an occasional flyer. Tony and Bob tested it from an 8 inch SBS and was gettin

  5. I haven't seen the other post yet. It's alright. I have been the ass myself on many occasions. I have learned (the hard way) to be very careful and the importance of researching things I state as fact. There is a reason the word ass is in ASSume. We have all been the ass at some time, you aint alive if you aren't. You are lucky though. There are some people that can't admit it and they stay asses forever!
  6. ... to watch the first episode, first showing of Sons of Guns! I wanted to remind everyone that tonight is the debut of Will's show! 9:00 to 10:00PM eastern time on the Discovery channel. Less than 2 hours away! Congrats Will! We are very proud of you! (sorry, I could resist inducing a little panic)
  7. I will elaborate more. I don't have quite the time right now, it will be a little indept. Note the gun with 4000 rds was a 2007 stock 19 inch with 4 ports and a factory plug that's position would allow low brass to operate on the 1 setting. This gun was semi-auto, non- converted, and I have never had to enlarge a port on any gun, also the very, very most of those 4000 rds were in fact low brass... You don't remember when the factory position of the plugs changed? It was the same time these guns started operating low brass on factory 1 and the same time fire pins started breaking. Also fo
  8. I have to totally disagree. Just pulling the trigger and seeing if it cycles doesn't tell you much. What kind of scientific and engineering testing have you done to confirm what your saying? Because my true testing of such type tells a totally different story. That and the gun I had that tore itself to peices after around 4000 rds. Yes, your avarge shooter will probably never put that through their gun and will likely never have issues but it doesn't change the facts and neither do your opinions. Our FA 12 just broke a firing pin at over 15000 rounds. The before mentioned gun broke it a
  9. Actually that sales pitch is missleading. It is made in the town of Tula. It is not a Molot made part. You can get 5 settings from the V-Plug for a lot less money. Also the Gunfixer is almost as good and has 4 settings.
  10. biggie, I can't agree with what you were told on an over gassed condition. In fact the results you are reporting is showing the opposite affect of that condition. I will explain in dept tomorrow on why but it has been a very long day. It will be a lengthy and in dept look at function of these parts and how they act. But I can tell you that the high power rounds you are talking about will typically be using the 2 and 3 setting of the V-Plug. Do this in the mean time. Check your ports. For 2008 and later guns a 19 inch should have 3 ports and 24 inch 2 ports. 2007 and earlier guns shoul
  11. Now the million dollar question............... Do they come with a double-stack mag??? On a serious note....are you guys doing the conversion, in-house? Or having someone else do them? They will be done in house. We know all the tricks. All holes welded and like they never happened. Riveted on, heat treated Izhmash style trigger guards. Bake on finish. All the bells and whistles and at a very reasonable price and not sacraficing a super high quality build. Price hasn't been squared away yet as well as options offered. That's what we needed to hold back guns for, te
  12. I am surpirsed that happened even from dropping it. My guess is it might not have been fully cliped from the beginning from our oversite. Very sorry. That is the only way I see it coming loose. I have the assembly and disassembly instructions in the user's guide. When you take the cover off just snap the eclip back on, you will see right where it goes, the ring on the axis pin closest (bottom) to the gear , the top ring is for the cover clip. Don't pull on the gear as you might let the spring unwind inside the gear. Let me know if this helps. Sorry again about the clip. This has happ
  13. MD Arms didn't raise their prices... We did back just before Christmas when the price we pay went up and finding out on top of it that the shipment would likely be our last for awhile... This is the time we all raised our prices. We was all around $460 and all went to $500, about 3 days before Christmas... We were holding around 33 saiga-12s from our last order to set up our conversion line with but I secured some more shotguns and desided to sell what I was holding as I didn't need that many. I listed them today and all but 6 have sold for $500 each... All I have left are 2 IZ-107s at $
  14. Gee, That's funny... I don't ever recall stating we were 3 weeks out... Shit or get off the pot??? I think keep your mouth shut unless you know what your talking about is much more appropriate. A few blurbs from the past..... Dated August 8 2010: (Mike Davidson) Two years? It only took me 3 weeks from the time I said I was going to make one until I was test firing the prototype ( I did have the fundumentals mentally thought out in advance of making it). The protoype has ALWAYS been flawless from day one. I could have started firing it much sooner but manually felt it out and dialed
  15. That isn't it. The project has been idle for over a year, besides filing the patent. That is why it has taken so long. Too many things that took our focus off of it. We are clearing the schedle to make it top priority though. Just finishing up a couple more things first. We are shooting for early summer. I know I said I would release more info some time ago but just would rather keep the main details quite for now. Trust the delay hurts me more than anyone.

Got your PM... We do not cover shipping. Go to our site and get our address. It will cost you a couple bucks to send it first class through the USPS. As soon as we receive it we will refund your card. I would quit talking now before you show your ignorance any further as I have never worked for Alliance Arms. I think you meant Alliance Armament though, never worked for them either...

You shouldn't have more power on 3 than 4. The 4 setting is significantly more gas, about twice as much. As far as the reliabilty kit from Carolina. It was originally with a gunfixer. They must of ran out of stock and subbed it with the V-Plug until they restocked. Carolina has the gunfixer made and likely has a bigger profit margin selling it intead of the V-Plug. It definately isn't because it works better than the V-Plug. Also we are getting ready to release a plug that increases the cycling power multiply time more than the KA piston. If the KA was our piston I doubt I would adv

Aslyguy, I'm sure the 3rd port will make a big difference! Let us know. Glad we got it figured out. Doing that was the only true fun I had in this thread. The drama is only fun for watchers.

I think I found your order... Are you Deric? You yourself didn't dis the plug but you did give poorly incorrect info on it and other stuff. Why would I send you a free drum? Keep the plug and stick it up your ass for all I care. But you really should go and CAREFULLY reread the info on the V-Plug at our site and deside if you really want to keep using your factory plug... Especially considering how you butchered the factory one with a nice direct opening to the threads and the chamber volume increase...

Bra... You bez da dumbist cat I bez know'n dog! The supposed info from you is some of the worst info I have seen floating through this whole forum! Everything you have said to help tells me you haven't the first damn clue and will lie to try and support your stupidity. Do yourself a favor and reread all the crap you said and then read where I told you you was wrong. Let it soak in and you will be off to a good start of not giving the same crap info again... Then your "preciouse" feelings won't get hurt again when someone tells you your wrong. That's where this started with you and you

What I am saying is their is no way in hell my plug is doing what you said it is. You have a chump gun. Spend a little less time jumping to conclusions, research, and fix it yourself. But I promise you it isn't the plug and that the gunfixer is not out performing it the way you put it. Maybe you put a few rounds on it, but trust I know what a used one looks like compared to your pristine peice. You didn't even give it a real shot, I bet not even 20rds. I think you are a liar, 99.99% sure of it. You claimed to have PMed me before and that I didn't respond... BS! You said you emailed la
