I was one of them! -
I have an '09 3 hole gun that ran federal bulk all day long out of the box. It seems most of the more recent guns seem to have less issues right out of the box

I remember being in Belgium some years ago and some "enviro nuts" were protesting in the streets, a big armored personnel carrier with a water cannon on top and about 50 people in riot gear showed up. They cleared out pretty fast. -
The Walking Dead season 2
EJ45 replied to GREYLUPO's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I'll be watching it! I really like the slower zombies that will overwhelm you with numbers over the ones running at top speed after you. Season 1 was great! -
Everyone has one, dont worry about it. Congrats on the gun, have fun with it

Are .22 any fun?
EJ45 replied to CBR Shadow's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
The 10/22 is a solid, accurate little gun. If you like to shoot, you cant do it much cheaper. Everyone needs a good .22 to have on the stash -
could be interesting! http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/09/29/massive-homemade-12-gauge-revolver/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheFirearmBlog+%28The+Firearm+Blog%29&utm_content=Google+Reader

hitch hikers YA pick em up?
EJ45 replied to armalite_ar50's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
This one time, I was driving with my then girlfriend, and came up on this early 20's blond girl in pigtails and a short skirt hitchhiking. I saw her and let off the gas only to get the most aweful look and to be told "you are NOT giving her a ride .... " as I look back I should have picked up the girl and left my gf on the side of the road. Im sure she didnt wait long! It was out on an unpopulated highway so I doubt she was a working girl ...... -

I have the CSS tri rail on my S12. It fit perfectly and is rock solid. I have no complaints with that installation.

Shooters in San Antonio ?

I live a little ways south of San Antonio but have family up there I visit often -
Thanks for the cost references! I see the thread was posted over a year ago so they probably aren't available anymore but it's still good for reference. So, buying a new FSB threaded for 24mm and a 24mm brake will cost me about $100. That's not bad...Is it a cheaper / easier route to go rather than the other method? Hopefully some other kind user will stop in this thread and help me price that out as well. Thanks again! Shoot him a PM .... I got a FSB and brake from him about a month or so ago.

As I have said before .... hogs aren't that hard to kill so long as you hit them in the right spot. Like Tony said, neck and head shots will drop them in their tracks. I know LOTS of farmers that kill the hell out of hogs with SKSs likely with cheap fmj. That being said ...... a well make 7.62 x 39 bullet should work fine so long as you aim for a soft spot and limit your distances. Here are a couple of pics I found showing anatomy The neck shot is midline ..... if you shoot high behind the ear you may just blow a hunk of meat off it
