  1. look for some Black hills, standard 55 grainers, in the blue box. they will deff do it, if you want factory stuff.
  2. tough to say really, I think those were 3 flyers in a row, which seems unlikely, and they are close together, so I am pretty sure, my body positioning was just a bit whack right then.
  3. Okay, let me go into as many details as possible here, I tried for as many variances as possible, to show the true capability of this rifle. Saiga in 223 cal, range is 50 m. Today, in houston, temps 80 degrees, late afternoon, light humidity. wind is 20 miles per hr. straight and steady , from our 6. The saiga is totally stock 16 inch bbl; let me qualify my meaning of stock. It has a blackjack recoil buffer inside. Also, on all my weapons , i dunk them for a few days, in a stainless trough, with sweetshooters. Then , when that is done, I totally rinse out with hi power steaming hot water
  4. Question; on the 410- does it do last shot hold open when the mag empties??
  5. wow! thanks for that, my man! that was a fast reply.
  6. Oh, one more thing, is there a mag clip out there, that will allow us to adjoint two of these mags together at once, such as with ar and ak mags?
  7. Is Ben @ agp, and MAA representing the same company, AGP? is the site that was haveing some probs, the one that Ben was representing, up and running fine now? Am looking for a couple of 10 rounders, and not sure which way to turn , as of yet. If you have bought mags from these dudes, did they work well for you?
  8. yep, I finally got it. thanks for that. man that sucker is tight!!! took off the c - clip, then put rem oil all over the joint, then grabbed the back of the folder, while smacking the bottom of the pistol grip, on the floor. finally , it loosened up enough , to get the hinge to move up and down enough, to turn it!!! Like the Revelator says, it is rock solid tight!!
  9. Revelator, got the side folder today, pretty quick work. However I must be king of the Dorksquad, because this thing is folded up, and i cannot for the life of me, unfold. So what am I doing wrong????
  10. wanted to ask a question about these, is a larger cap magazined made for these , and are they possible to get?
  11. IS it still for sale? Christie_christopher@yahoo.com Yes, it's still for sale. We've put anouther eight rounds through it trying to get her to like it. She's done made up her mind, she wants to keep my STG-58. O.K. I'd like to buy something else for me,since the wife doesn't want this Saiga. I'll drop the price to $325.00, or trade for a like value AK in .223 or 7.62x39. what state are you in? i am def interested.
  12. if you still have one, I would like it. I have bought gear from other dudes here before, so if you need to check me out, it's cool. If you em me tonight or tommorrow, in the am, i will get you out a m.o. doubletime!
  13. what are you asking for it?
  14. I am in the market for a saiga 12. I think i would prefer one with the pistol grip mod, shorter bbl(not under 16 inches) , and removeable verticle foregrip. also if there are hi cap mags available, I would like two of those. i have bought many things from other guys here in the past, if you would like to check me out, that is fine. what may I expect to pay for this? who has them available? thanks for your replies.
  15. hey buddy, i'm here in houston. you will have no problem with mag size here in Texas, go with the 8 rounders they will be fine. or if corriea or the fbmg boys have made the 20 rounders, those will be fine too. Accuracy wise, I had a 16 in bbl 308, plus one in 223 and 762.39 , they are all moa when I do my part. As far as scope mounting, i allways found the side mount to be fine, just get you a medium or high ak side mount , and you will be good to go. if you get a scope with a front bell of l32 mm or less, you can use a low side mount.
  16. I actually shot the 185's and 2.5's through mine, and though the poi was way low at 100 yds, they were all quite accurate.
  17. In case you may wanna go higher, I have a Parker Hale ultralite 308. It is post ww2 , it is straight mauser, it is beautiful old world English fanatical craftsmanship. The wood is beautiful, old hand cut and checkered, the blueing is highly mirror polished. the bbl is actually stamped 'J.C. Penny's'. i am not too old, but I never remember jc penny's ever selling rifles, even when I went there with my parents as a kid. it is also sick accurate. it will shoot moa with almost anything, including milsurp, in particular, S.African, all british empire foreign country stuff, most of the old naz
  18. go get you a brand new stevens in 308, will cost you about 250 or less. they are savages, with the plastic stock, and no accutrigger.
  19. saw your post on the other line, so here is my reply from there. well, let me say that I am no expert at all , so let me tell you what I did see. I saw, three diff magazines, held them in my hand. one was a 762, one was a 223, one was a 308. they all were in the packages. they all looked exaclty the same design on the outside. they were all in that kinda tough clear plastic wrapping. they all had those little pieces of paper in there, with the funky standard lettering, english on one side, and something else on the othe

  21. I was at the houston show today, and there is a place called Hard to Find, mags and clips. they are out of Arizona. They have russian made, real Saiga factory hi caps in 223 and 762.39, only REGULAR SIZE for 308. they will be at the George R. Brown show in 3-4weeks. their number in az is 928.704.0548. Their mags are 40 or 50 bucks each. and yeah, if you got some strange weapon that hasn't been around in a while , they proly got a mag for it.
