I really hope ammo normalization is only about a month away... but I believe its still just too unpredictable. Things are so screwed up between new buyers, buying at new levels, reselling and hoarding that it might be next year before things settle down.

Just found out that the Tula 122gr. HP I got from natchez is appears to be loaded with 8m3, has ridges, and tested it on milk jugs, only found fragments of bullets.

Interesting... I always wondered what the point was in offering a 122 AND a 124 grain hollow point... looks like there really might not be a difference.

Used? I'm thinking if you got it under $750 would be a really good price. A little over that up to 900 or so would probably be the going rate. Really depends on if the slide is milled for the RMR or if it just has some kind of rear sight mount.

At the gun store yesterday and they had what I thought was a converted saiga 7.62 with the barrell shroud (no muzzle break) on it. I called it a Saiga, the guy behind the counter "corrected" me in a nice and not douchey way and called it an AK. He was busy, as all gun stores are now and I just wanted a price, $1300, so I didn't argue. But can you tell the difference between a saiga and another AK variant without actually holding it and looking at markings?

Most gun store clerks I've met only think Saigas are shotguns... many have never seen a Saiga rifle. Gun store clerks are generally not a wealth of information... they're generally hired on their ability to fill out 4473's, not relay information on firearms beyond what the tag might say.
