My 236 has also has a slant receiver. Is it that the buttstock won't cross over from a stamped receiver to a milled receiver?

I have someone who's interested in installing the furniture from my Saiga 236 (7.62, sporterized, 21" bbl) on their Norinco Hunter. Can this be done easily or not-so-easily? Advice anyone?
