  1. I replied that i love my job. I work for a contract security company at a specific site and it is very enjoyable. The physical security part of it is really good but the part that I enjoy the most is the instructing...firearms, chemical weapons, expandable baton. It pays very well and I set my own hours for training. It will be the place that I retire from.
  2. I purchased some used nylon M16 dbl mag pouches w/ molle backs (ACU & Desert 3 color Molle II) for about $2.50 each off of Ebay. One five round mag fits perfectly and the elastic band that goes across the middle holds the mag in place. Also a pouch that works for 8 round mags made by Semper Paratus Tactical in Puyallup, WA. He originally made these for AK 40 rnd mags.
  3. This is the experience I have had so far with my S12. My S12 was converted by me and I followed the tutorials, pics, and, explanations on the Saiga 12 forum on how to do that and how to polish the bolt. Mine is a 3 port gun with ports approx. .063". I test fired it before the conversion to make sure it functioned before I converted it. The shells I have fired throughout all of my testing are: Winchester Super X 2&3/4 #8, 3&1/4 DR EQ, 1&1/8 oz shot - Remington Field Load 2&3/4 #8, 3&1/4 DR EQ, 1oz shot - Winchester Super X 00Buck 12 pellet unplated - Winchester Super X Rifl
  4. I was raised that way also. Like everyone else i have made my mistakes in life and done my best to learn from them. My rudder in life is The Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. That was my thought. My belief is that it was a manufacturing flaw due to how little i had to take off. I should have done some measurements before and after but i didn't think about it...it wasn't much though.
  6. I had trigger slap for the first time when I converted my S12. I have owned several and own several AK's currently and never exprrienced it before. I followed that exact tutorial listed above and fixed my problem. I too believed that with a Tapco fcg you could never have trigger slap but you can. There was no tail on the disconnector at all but i still had to remove a little off of the bottom.
  7. Nice little collection ya got goin there.
  8. I believe that it's a pimped out C93 (5.56 mm). Yep, a pimped out C93.
  9. My Yugo 59/66. Christmas present from the wife four years ago, unissued in cosmoline. Stained the stock and added the sling, oiler w/pouch.
  10. This is one of the type of bags I use. A $25.00 scuba fin and mask bag with a homemade sleeve to slip inside for padding and to resist printing of the weapon. Insert is ballistic nylon and closed cell foam. Also the 3 mag bandoleer has a soft trauma pack inserted behind the mags. I have also used baseball bat bags, enclosed golf club bags, tennis racket bags. Regular looking backpacks work good for accessories.
