I saw the saiga 30-06 today on a wwbsite. Its a bolt action and looked real nice but for the price I think savage has em beat.

Ok so I wanna test my saiga 308 im shooting 200 yards iron sights but I wanna go to 400-500 yards. So with that said I dont want some huge scope thats gonna be sticking past my barrel. Maybe a 4-12 or fixed 12x wanna stay as close to $250 n under if thats possible. Thanks in advance.

@nick. Check the rules I dont think it matters if you have a maglock the shortest possible shooting length must be 30inchs thats why ive been holding off building my amd65. Also wat made it a pain to keep the bolt hold open?

Hey guys aint been here in a while. Anyways I traded and got a saiga 308 yesterday. I have 2 questions. #1. It has not had a trigger job done yet the pistolgrip and stock are one piece and it screws into the rear trunion. Has anyone ever had any experience with this type of setup? If so how did it work out? #2 saiga 308 mags are expensive! Does anyone know if theres an aftermarket kit to accept fal mags or anything else thats cheaper? Thanks for any help.

So after having my saiga for a little bit now I have to say it has now became my favorite rifle for the range my fully built ar15 was my favorite but shit this saiga is awesome. I was a vendor at the Antioch Ca gunshow this last weekend and their was alot of saiga fans their but ammo guys are dicks everyone I asked about steel cased rounds called it crap and only had brass for 185 for 350 rounds. It started for me I have an sks rochriver ar15 mossberg 590 winchester 1400 and lots more but I wanted the saiga 12 ended up getting forementioned mossberg 590 but then got the saiga 308 and love the damn thing ar15 use to be my fun gun not no more saiga freaking rocks anything i shootand cheaper to shoot too.

I took the Saiga 308 to the shooting range today and what can I say its AWESOME sure does dump rounds out nicely! I believe this is the best $515 I ever spent. trigger everyone complains about didn't bother me a bit recoil was nothing to complain about just wish bolt would lock when empty. Other than that I love this rifle!!!! 3 people at the range saw it and all are planning to order one. GOOD JOB TO THE MAKERS OF SAIGA 308

Today is the day. I go pick up my Saiga 308 can not wait im all but AR'ed out at the range. So it will make things a little funner my scope mount will be here today as well I think Im gonna go with the super sniper scope. I will let u guys know how it goes.
