  1. Not a fan of the wood but that can be changed. May look into the M series. The trigger looks to have a weird shape to it.
  2. See them listed at several places, but none seem to be in stock.
  3. How do you like your MI scope mount?
  4. http://www.classicfi...-x-39-semi-auto Wondering how the quality of the conversion is?
  5. Anyone have experience with these? They look to be excellent. http://www.midwestin...category_id=433
  6. I got it here: http://www.desertfoxsales.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=RPK-02
  7. I have been considering getting one for my .223. Gives you much more precision with iron sights.
  8. You are correct, sir. As usual, Russian Hammer is wrong, because he's a terrible racist. ... Ahhhhh.. my eyes! Trigger guard... (still) in the wrong place. Barrel.. entirely too long. An ugly duckling that could evolve into a beautiful Russian swan, but it's gonna take some work. Nope, gonna keep this one more stock. May buy some normal capacity SGM magazines, but other than that nothing else.
  9. Well got the new 7.62, now just need to get out and shoot it.
  10. I have seen that said during my research, just want to make sure before dropping some cash on one.
  11. Thanks for the info. Will wait to hear about the elevation.
  12. Not true per Carolina Shooters Supply, you do not have to trim mag catch for a 5.45 Saiga. You do have to add bullet guide. I would rather machine on a $400 gun than a $600 gun. I like the rear sight on the VEPR and the heavier barrel, but having to file on the mag catch goes beyond ridiculous IMO. I guess If I buy a 5.45 it will be a Saiga and then just do another conversion as I did with my .223.
  13. Wow! That blows! I have no problem installing a tapco G2 or even buying Tapc mags, which should make the rifle 922r compliant. I'm not real excited about having to install a bullet guide or modifying magazine catches. Thanks for the info.
  14. Wondering if they will take standard ak 74 mags without modification?
  15. Yep, never converted a Saiga. I want it to go as smoothly as possible. I like my rifle, and don't want to mess it up.
  16. I got a kit from CSS, that may already be modified for it, and yes it is a nice feature for when you are at the range where rules require the bolt to be held open.
