Prison guard dead in Delaware

Officers working in prisons risk their lives everyday. Regular people font fully respect what those men and women do everyday. I know we have some COs on this fourm and I was once a CO it's a thankless job and and crappy pay. We should all stand behind them and the elected officals to rise their pay. -
Polymer ar15

Yeah I'm looking for cheap. But if I ever win the lottery or they repeal the Hughes amendment I'll find the money for that 9mm belt fed upper to go with my legal machine gun lower. -
Polymer ar15

Very good point. I'm not sure that it would matter with the newer metal reinforced polymer lowers, but still a good point. For yet another perspective, if both the upper receiver and the lower receiver fail, Monty still hasn't lost much money in the grand scheme of things. I am very interested in keeping things light, but not as obsessed with it as some might be. I try to manage my expectations by finding some middle ground between light and a durable serious-use weapon. I don't have anything just for fun anymore. I like a little adventure every now and then though, so I'd probably do anothe -
Polymer ar15

No blackthorn anything, ever. I'm not sure they have ever been known for doing anything adequate or decent. In the case of .22, have you considered the S&W M&P15-22? Great .22 trainer if you want to get them used to AR feel and controls. I know blackthorn I total crap. But they have the only polymer upper I can find. And I'm sure there's a reason. But....I'm planning to get a cmmg bolt and barrel. Wouldn't the upper just house those what issues could present themselves? And as far as polymer breaking I know personally 3 people with plumcrazy lowers, one guy has 5 between his fathe -

Polymer ar15

Yeah I know the polymer isn't going to save a ton. But an oz here and there. And I've seen blackthorn has some polymer uppers. I'm not sure they would be durable enough but I'm not going to shoot thousands of rounds through it. I'd probably use it to teach my kids, hell I may just use it as a 22lr. That would proably be smarter. My goal is a light weight short length of pull with a gun my 7 year old could hold up for long enough to learn to shoot. I got a bunch of kids and as they learn him safety and can recite the 4 rules I'll start teaching them how to shoot. -
So is anyone or had anyone used the polymer ar15 receivers for an ar15. I know several people personally that have used the plumcrazy lowers. I was thinking about the lighest weight build possible and I'm thinking of using a polymer upper and lower a carbon fiber handguard, a turned down 9mm barrel of about 4 or 5 inches in length and a pilstol buffer with shockwave arm brace. Maybe even make up an aluminium flash hider.

First AR Recommendation

No, other than the fact that I've seen some of those kits on sale for less. Item 7781383 is actually a pretty nice deal though. And yes, all you'd need is a lower and a sight/sights. On the uppers, some of them say mid-length gas system, while others are carbine-length.Is one better than the other or are they about the same? For 10.5" barrel to 16" I like carbine length. Partly because I want everything to feel familiar to me in regards to the handguard and partly because I am not a fan of having weight any further forward than it absolutely must be. Midlengths at 14.5" to 16" can be -
Olympic Arms is Closing

They were always a budget option. With the current market your not going to be able to sell an ar15 simply because it's an ar15. It's sad to see any one in the freedom market close down. But I have to think if they had concentrated more on new innovative products like the bufferless pistol they made. And adapting that system into a rifle with folding stock they could have sold more weapons. The market for hunting ar15s will miss them with all the different rounds they chambered. -
CZECHPOINT VZ.58-PISTOL

Saw it in 007, bond was very accurate with it. Even without extending the stock that was on his. Lol. I looked them up after I saw the movie. Neat little gun, would be good for one of the arm braces. I bet it throws a hell of a fire ball. If your interested id act fast. Cz sells them out prettyfast when they come in. -

It doesn't lose any capacity and yes overall leangth isn't that much shorter. But it looks bad ass. And if I want a pistol grip shotgun I want it as handy as possible. And I just saw mossberg is going to be selling a 500 and 590 version with a 14" barrel, factory and in the video I saw it sounds like the 590 will have a 6 shot tube. Or the mossberg rep may have ment 6 shot overall capacity. The real reason is I don't hunt I use my guns for home and family defense and target shooting and just fun blasting. I want a new toy and I want it to be a shotgun. I've had a vepr 12 and those are -
