    I do not understand why anyone here feels that they have to act in any way on Mike's behalf including Cobra. Certainly any frustration that anyone is feeling is only due to the awkward position that Mike has put you in along with your individual belief that you have to protect him.

     

    Given Mikes past history of posting and given Mikes recent history of not posting it doesn't take a rocket scientist to draw the one and only conclusion that something is wrong. If there isn't anything wrong then Mike is the biggest moron in the history of the Internet for doing what he has done to all of his customers and his best friends and supporters.

     

    If there isn't anything seriously wrong and he is just playing games with us then he can go fuck himself.

     

    No matter what, I expect a forthright response soon.

    IMHO, I think if Mike just posted a monthly update in a closed thread it would end a lot of uselss chatter, and anxioty that some are having.

     

     

     

     

     

    I think it's also clear to a lot that there are some "insiders" on the board that probably know some stuff but they don't understand that if your given information in confidence, that's how it needs to stay.

    WOW! That's the same thing I told Mike myself! What a concept. Too bad he didn't listen and I STILL have had to take the brunt of all this bullshit and all these questions that HAVE no answers. THANKS MIKE! :ded: Just like Juggs hinted around...we ARE NOT sitting on any secret knowledge.

     

    Which brings me directly to the second part.....(insiders)

     

    I'm gonna say this one time and I'm done with all this.

     

    I AM NOT AN INSIDER. I don't know shit about the drums, any more than I have one (BETA) and it's real. All I know about the new ones is the same things he has told you guys, and things that I have already relayed back to you before he stopped returning even MY calls and emails a LONG time ago. I didn't want to send anyone into panic mode so I have not mentioned to anyone that Mike is ignoring me too. It still pisses me the fuck off though, because I have worked harder than anyone to keep his customer base calm and not let the shitstorms get out of hand. It sure must be nice to just disappear and not worry about anything or what anyone on here has to say.

    Well I'm washing my hands of it as of today. I am SICK of having to play the bad guy so that I can be ignored.

     

    Y'all go right ahead and panic now and start all the threads you want about it, I am DONE.

     

    The fucking things are NOT poured yet, and they will not BE poured...shot...injected...WTF ever...until the big ass company he chose to do the work is ready to do it....end of story. No amount of y'all's bitching will make that happen any sooner. Mike posting won't make it happen any sooner. The whiners will continue to whine. The bitchers will continue to bitch, and the drums will continue to sit there unfinished until bigger fish like NASA, Boeing, and others allow the necessary time for the molds to be injected...at least that's my best guess...but what do I know...I can't get any updates either. :angry:

     

    Hence my extreme frustration with this whole damned topic!

    I think that we can all better understand your frustrations now that we know that you understand ours.

     

    We are mostly adults here and can accept both good news as well as bad. We all want Mike to succeed (or at least it seems mostly that way).

     

    This whole thing isn't complicated yet for some reason it seems that Mike has chosen to make it that way.

     

     

     

    Now to Mike......

     

    For sometime you were the number one poster here. For months now you don't show up at all and it causes a degree of edginess here that makes people wonder whats up. It is now obvious that you are also making life difficult for your biggest supporters.

     

    Spend 10 minutes a week and give us the latest news - good or bad.

     

    99% of the people here will support you no matter what happens.

    Did you know the term "Black Widow" was coined in the 60's possibly by Ralph Shattuck?

    They look nice with the black plastic grips.

    Is your's a 41 or 42 date?

     

    Mine is a 42 and was one of the last made.

    I come over here to the forum every now and then, mostly just for drum updates anymore. This is thread is a great example of how how the internet allows people to be so rude anymore though. I think the guy had a legitimate question that could have been answered (as to an anticipated ship date) without getting ganged on.

     

    I'll wait for mine, but we should be getting close and perhaps a new "anticipated" ship date would help to settle people down. Depositor since 9/11/07.

    It takes some time to switch colors around. I'd bet right now AGP just wants to pump out as many mags as quickly as humanly possible without having to worry about how many greens, blues, oranges etc. to make.

     

    That may be true but I won't buy anymore blacks.

     

    But if they make a see through mag, I'll buy 4 more.

     

    My bet is 90% of the first time buyers are like me (not necessarily clear though).

    An event such as a Cat 5 hurricane in my mind really is not a SHTF situation. I am sure that anyone who experiences one may disagree but people in the middle of one still know that it is just a matter of time (maybe 3 days maybe 3 weeks) before help will come. The cleanup may take a while but you also know that in the other 99% of the country life goes on as usual.

     

    Because of this your cash is still worth something. If you have enough food for a week or two that will not spoil and if you have the ability to protect it and your family for this short time, you will survive.

     

    The most important thing to learn from one of these events is that many people still panic and turn into animals within a very short period of time.

     

    To me a real SHTF situation is one where most of the country is in the same predicament at the same time and there is no reason to believe that fresh food and water will be available at all, to anyone. It could be a pandemic, it could be a nuclear loss of a few of our major cities causing a national panic, it could be any situation where people do not go to work. Most of us may not even be effected by the tragedy but when you and 300,000,000 other people rush to the grocery store or gas station to stock up and come home empty handed, things will get very very bad very quickly.

     

    When your electric power goes off and you know that there is no reason why it will come back on, almost everyone will panic. It starts in the ghetto and spreads everywhere. The larger the town you live in, the more you believe that you have to get out of town fast to survive. Head for the country. Get away from the masses. You make it one mile or 20 miles and you are in a traffic jam that is a gridlock. You have virtually no food, no water and you can't move your car and your little girl won't stop crying. You are surrounded by thousands of people who are just like you and you begin hearing gun fire from all directions.

     

    Do you think anyone wants your hoard of cash?
