  1. Microwave is probably too much... I am thnking to add a GPS, smartphone with voice recognition to call 911, a Taser and a couple of pepper cans. If run out of ammo, can still spray that charging boar.
  2. I have an obsessive thought to make my Saiga the most versatile hunting shotgun ever made I guess I am not the only one. And it is tempting to think ... that bayonet might help in some situations. I do not advocate for it, just want to hear opinions. Agreed! I guess akkalish thinks a wounded 1/2 pound bunny is a dangerous situation. I commend his bravery.
  3. "If you wound them, they do not charge." -- I am happy for you. Others (not me personally) had a different experience. I DO NOT think that bayo is an anwer to dangerous situations, which may happen during hunting. Alcohol is probably much more dangerous, than anything else. Yet, flexibility of mind may help at times If you think that you ALWAYS clean shots, please think twice. Modesty is a good quality, togetehr with ambitions. Agree that range practice is a must. Cheers, A.
  4. Thank you for your response. Nice picture. Have you ever fired your Saiga with the bayo attached? Slugs or buck shots? A.
  5. Ya, guns are made for shooting, not for "forking ". Agree 100%. Yet, there are situations... What this: What do you think abou that situation? I think that that person with a camera was lucky not being shot by that "shooting the boar again" hunter. So, that falling down hunter, attacked by a wild boar, finally got his balance back and started shooting around people ... I should say: NO way. Although the shot was clean, the situation was not. But a bayo might be helpful in that situation, not to hunt a boar, but maybe to scare the beast.... ?? Just a thought. uote name='roach
  6. A question about bayonets for Saiga -12. Bayonets came to my mind after watching Youtube about charging boars ... Visited dinzagarms. They say: AR15/M16 M9 bayonets can be used on the Saiga 12 shotguns. You will need a bayonet lug and a muzzle attachment. The front of our Saiga-12 and Saiga-20 '74 flash hiders and '74 muzzle brakes are sized correctly to hold the bayo. So, my question is if polychokes hold the M9 bayo? Is it still possible to shoot slugs or buck shot with the M9 bayo attached? Risky? Unsafe? Thank you. A.
  7. Oh, lucky you... I have a problem with my front Krebs sight! Both screws went down the holes as supposed to, to the fullest ... yet the sight is not fixed and spins around the barrel as a watch handle. Appreciate any suggestions before I send them back. Sincerely, Happy New Year. A.
  8. Hi all, Short question: is a pistol grip better for sporting clays? Thank you, A.
  9. What WalMArt heavy stuff would you recommend to break it in?
