  1. guess i posted to soon. i just figured it out. the rubber lens guard that was on the end was pushing against the rail and tilting the optic up
  2. recently just purchased a Vortex strikefire after reading some good reviews on here. however when i installed it on my chaos rail i dont have enough vertical adjustment. i got the lowest rings i could get but i'm still shooting significantly lower than the red dot. anyone else run into this issue?
  3. It's a few months out , still , should have it somewhere in season 3 [starts filming Oct. 10th] Glad to hear there will be a season Three! and Oct 10th just so happens to be my birthday. couldnt wish for a better present.....unless of course you wanted to send me one of your beautiful AK's love the show. thank you and keep up the good work
  4. Just thought I'd put the word out that there will be a gun show in Concord NH next weekend (april 9-10). its gonna be at the Everette Ice Arena and will be open from 9:00 to 5:00 on Sat. and 9:00 to 2:00 on Sun. they are charging $8 to get in. Havnt been to this show myself before, but i've heard its a decent one
  5. did you re-profile your hammer? if so you may have take to much off
  6. I'm in the Lake Sunapee area Same here. I am in Salem Well if you ever need a place to go shooting I got a great place. No rules except my rules and you can shoot at anything except me. And I live in Newmarket about 45 minutes away.
  7. yeah i love mine. picked it up a couple of months ago. far as I'm concerned it is far superior to my surefire. at 320 lumens it has a 4 hour runtime!
  8. Check Out Olight brand tactical lights. they have three different power settings plus a tactical strobe and have a much longer run time than most surefires. i just picked up the Olight M20S brand new on ebay with the weapons mount and tactical switch for around $110.
  9. Also just got mine back recently and was thrilled with Pauly's incredible work at an even more incredible price. Not to mention his dedication to keeping his customers up to date on the status of their orders and just generally staying in contact with us despite being balls to the wall busy. thanks again Pauly, keep up the good work!!!!
  10. 19" barrel . next i'm thinking i'll be doing a LRBHO and possibly a left side charging handle
  11. Bought my S12 a few years ago after seeing an article in shotgun news (i think) and instantly falling in Love. Now after saving all my pennies and pouring over Saiga forum for hours upon hours absorbing every scrap of info i could find, it is finally exactly as i had imagined it!....minus the LRBHO from Cadiz of course! So thanks to everyone here for all the info and help I've received along the way. anyway, enough talking, time for some shameless gun porn!
  12. Central NH here! formerly of Upstate NY as well as Burlington VT for a short period
  13. i was talking to a buddy of mine about how much i liked tactical shotguns but how i also wanted an AK....only had the money for one....so he says "i'll be right back" and comes in and throws an issue of shotgun news into my lap opened up to an article on S12's . problem solved! i had one within a month and have been lovin it ever since!
  14. As i member of the Reenacting community (albeit a not the same time period) i thought it was awesome that you guys over there at RJ put your time an skills into that bazooka project. That thing was incredible! and props for takin a direct hit from that thing. cant say i woulda been the first one to jump right up in front of it. keep up the good work! Love the show!
  15. Anyone know of a side mount rail that's tall enough to mount an optic and still be able to use your hk sights?
