  1. I generally use my left hand on the stock as a rest for my cheek with a high AK-type mount. Made no difference to me. The same afternoon I shot a 1/2 dozen sub-0.5 MOA groups with a scoped AR-15, no problem.

    POSP scope

I have a Saiga 'woody' that seems to shoot better with iron sights than with a 4x POSP scope (imported from Belarus, Russia). Groups appear to open-up to 4-6 inches with the scope. The mounting system seems OK and I have tried different amounts of 'pressure' on the clamp with no effect. Does anyone have experience with these ? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I have an order in for a few .308 Saiga mags. I noticed your website was not working today. What's up ?
  4. Mine had the little green bag, oil bottle, cleaning stuff and came in a big plastic case and a cardboard outer box. I won't be shooting it for awhile - just had shoulder surgery (rotator cuff) friday. Please post more when you get furniture and get to the range.

The strange thing is the 'owners manual' has a 'certificate' signed and dated July, 1999. The receiver is marked as follows: left side: Kalashnikov-USA, Pt St. Lucie Ft. USA Made in Russia by IZHMASH SA 02 99 Serial# 99XXXX right side: SAIGA-308-1 The rifle appears to be in new condition and at most, test fired. I'm hoping it sat around in a store who's inventory was bought-out and ended-up here. I'm also hoping the
