  1. I mixed some "steel stix" putty together filled the cavity of the knob, pushed it on, red locktite on the threads, wiggled it to find the sweet spot while cranking down on it with a 4" allen wrench per the directions.....over 1000 rounds later its never budged..... ....which is kind of a bummer now cuz I want this new one!
  2. Im sure a lot of R&D went into engineering this gun, it wasnt just drawn on a napkin then thrown together in a garage workshop. I dont endorse Kel-tec in any way, but I will definately be getting one of these for the safe at home. This gun was made for law enforcement and military use so naturally its well adapted to HD. Its a close quarters combat shotgun....why would any one be leery of this? I would definately use it for HD, but until I play around with it at the range I dont really agree with kel-tec's "new law enforcement and military standard" claim..that means replacing the

    My Saiga!

Pics of post conversion please......WE LOVE GUN PORN!
  6. my gun is dura coated, tomorrow im doing the rails ultra flat tactical black. Its easy to use, but prep is the key. All surfaces MUST be free of any grease or oil what so ever. I stripped my gun down to the receiver and sprayed all parts seperately using duracoat combat black. I think the ultra flat rails will make a nice contrast. If you spend most of your time degreasing and cleaning the parts, you will get the best results. And spray in even, LIGHT coats, duracoat will run if you load it up all at once. Soak parts over night in a degreaser if you can. I do that now just to make
  7. Those tanks are bad-ass, I wish I could drive around with the 50 cal on the roof of my car! Thanx for the gun porn

i have a chaos quad and haven't had any issues with it. The only issues I have heard of where rails clamped to the gas tube (like pauly explained) or sometimes after reassembly of the firearm, the gas block can be a little off-center to one side or the other causing your newly installed quad to rest up against the exhaust port. I think of it this way...much like a car cylinder, an explosion (gas pressure from the fired round) happens in front of the puck/piston, that puck moves rearward at a very VERY fast rate to push the rod/carrier rearward. The air behind the puck needs to get out or
  9. excuse me for a sec... I really don't know where you got that from.... I was asking about the plug because of the risk of overworking the system with the booster puck and too much gas from magnum loads. Oh, my bad...i misread your reply.
  10. Nizzo, reading your reply im getting the impression you thought I blew a hole in my gun, not the case. It was a steel pole in the ground 100 yards away
  11. What gas plug are you using? Mike confirmed that you can use high powered shells with the booster puck if using the v-plug to more greatly restrict gas than the stock plug. I use auto plug, but that wasnt the issue, it ran fine with everything I put in it: wally federal, wins, slugs.....but the tracer rounds left a silver metallic residue like magnesium in the gas system. Dont ever use those in your semi auto, I learned the hard way The booster was killer though, I will keep using it
