  1. I have one I can send/loan you, but I need it back. I thread on the lathe, so I don't use it....but do need to get it back. Call the shop and ask for Matt today from 2pm-4pm (central). 636-928-1511
  2. 6500, thanks for the compliment on the buttstocks! Every single person who has been in the shop and shouldered it has decided on that stock for their build....never sold even one online though. Guess you have to try it out to like it(???). Come on by when you can and we'll hang out, and bring up one of your current projects....always cool stuff you are working on
  3. Chris, Thanks for the photos....the gun turned out awesome. I am so sorry about the long delay....I hope the discounts and free stuff took the sting out of the wait. Very glad you are happy w/ it
  4. Bob, I agree with you 100%. Tony's guns are works of art and the standard by which all others should strive for. I have seen many conversions, and have had several of Tony's guns (SBS's) come through here on NFA transfers....They are absolutely beautiful, and without a doubt, the best, in quality and reputation.
  5. That was the first AK charger I have done. Done a ton of TROMIX Galil chargers and absolutely love them. Done a couple of Honey Sticks, but like the TROMIX a lot better. Liked the AK charger a ton when I was done with it, looks great. Thanks for the pic, Hammer!
  6. Take a slightly smaller diameter pin, cut it off at the identical length as the thickness of the mag catch. On one end, round the edge to give it a very slight angle (chamfer). Put the sping on the catch and slide the 'short' pin in to hold the spring in place. Slide the catch/spring/short-pin assembly into the reciever....line it up correctly, and drive the original pin through (the sharpened egde of the short-pin should go forward/out). I think it's a 3.50mm pin (I don't remember....regardless), you can get .01mm or .02mm over size pins that will press into the reciever and not walk o
  7. We have 2 X-stocks in inventory ready to ship. $150 w/out ACE 1st generation hinge. $210 w/ ACE hinge installed. Our buttstock will only work with the 1st Generation ACE hinge, and will not fit on the weapon w/out the hinge. Sorry about the high price, cost us a LOT of money in parts, and labor....we are not making much on them. They are nice. If you dont like it, we will refund and reimberse shipping, both ways. Buttstock is pictured in our banner below. I will not have time to check forum until Saturday/Sunday. Our email is info@CSM-W.com Phone is 636-928-1511 Matt C&

  11. That is actually one gun that visually got my attention....nice choice of parts for the build....very aestetic(sp?)
  12. Take measurements, EDM frame-flat, bend to spec, make trunions/rails/etc...rivit it up. Only way to make your own at this point (imho). But you are still going to need a donor gun....I am missing the point.
  13. 870 12" pistol grip AOW w/ LED-light, loaded w/ Buck, in closet. Sig229/40 in nightstand. 2nd Chance level 3A under bed. My personal 12" SBS Saiga?....somewhere at work....probably buried under 3 feet of crap, LOL. Yeah....Like a SWAT Team coming through your door, LOL!
  14. Cut it, and keep it.....it can be welded back on if needed.
  15. You've gotten good advice on how to do it with a handrill....you have to do what you have to do, to work around your equipment limitations. IF you have a drill press....get the correct size carbide end-mill bit, and spin your drill-press up as fast as it will go (to lessen the chatter), and make your angled hole. Actually, going with a smaller end-mill bit, then finishing/chasing it w/ the correct drill bit is even better. No drill press? Go w/ the other builders reccommendations on that one. They know what they are talking about. Good luck

  18. CheesyBacon, why ain't our stock on the list? I hate you today! LOL, j/k
  19. The OP had a Form 1, so he is allowed to "manufacture" that individual SBS. +1 on it needing 4 ports It sounds like there may be some burrs in the barrel or a sharp edge on the inside of the barrel at the ports that is "shaving" material off of the shot cup in the ammo as it travels past, causing the premature "shitloading" of the gas block. I have experienced the "shit biscuit", but usually after about 400-500 rounds of Federal Multi-purpose. The weapon still runs great with the shit biscuit in it and I usually have no indication of its existence until I go home and clean the weapon.
  20. Bob, Snail drum? If anyone can pull it off, you guys can...get on it....I want a few (or more) :-)
  21. I like the standard....much shorter. I was actually the guy who suggested to the owner of Polychoke back in 2006, to make those vented core-samplers....Just thought I would do a little bragging
  22. LOL!!!!! My advice....don't ever pick up a adult squirrell Cracked my knuckle like a walnut, LOL!
  23. The wood grip panels on that gun are replacements....the originals had a bullet hole through them (and the metal pistol grip frame underneath the grips)
