LET US KNOW HOW THE TWS WORKS FOR YOU. DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE R308--THANKS. LOOKED AT IT ON EOTECH SITE. I LIKE THE RETICLE ON THE 512 A LOT MORE THAN THE ONE SHOWN FOR THE R308. DO YOU KNOW IF THE 512 WOULD HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE 308 RECOIL? I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE 308 VS. .223 TRAJECTORY DIFFERENCE, AS I INTEND THE SAIGA TO SERVE ESSENTIALLY WITHIN 150 YARD RANGE. BUT DON'T WANT THE 512 CRAPPING OUT BECAUSE NOT CONSTRUCTED FOR THE BUMPIER RIDE. THANKS! They are constructed the same I think since they are the same price, the caliber specification has to do with the BDC retic

My new Saiga 308 is performing as per reputation, eating anything I feed it with no malfunctions. Ready to start stepping it up. S-308 vets please advise what sight mount to use to put on Eotech 512 sight. Many thanks

Thanks, guys. Yes, I did try the spring both ways, convex to the rear sight post, and it didn't seem to make any difference. Much appreciate your confirming it's OK to fire without spring, at least for awhile. Now I'm in business. Take care
