Well, I went to the range after work today, and she runs like a top. Shot a box of cheap wally world winchester 7 shot, a box of winchester 9 shot, and a box of remington 9 shot. No FTE's. Was tempted to load up my ten round mag, put I will wait until I put in the two stage trigger so that won't be any doubt about compliance. Will mount my red dot off of my AR and see how accurate I can get some slugs to fly.

Cried wolf too soon. After giving my garage a thourough cleaning, I found the part. Have finished opening ports, added one port, reassembled and will go to range to test tomorrow after work.

well, after many months of debate with myself, and much reading of this forum, I puchased a Saiga 12. Went to the range over the holidays, and tried shooting low brass from Wally world and of course I wasn't lucky enough to have gotten one that worked right, right out of the box. So anyway, I finally took it down and found out that it only had two holes, and they weren't drilled correctly. I am going to open them up and drill the third hole. Oh, if you don't have any pin punches, don't save, or think you save, a few bucks by getting them from Harbor Freight, they are the junk you think they

I have been following the S12 for awhile now, and finally broke down and ordered one. Came in yesterday, and I picked it up today. You can believe I will be at the range sometime over this four day Christmas weekend. I really bought it for hunting with the longer barrel. Don't know if I want to put wood on it, our set it up like my AR. Anyway, It"s back to reading for now.
