  1. Unfortunately we participate in one of the few "sub" cultures in America where if one person screws up, the whole gets punished. They never punish religious groups for the actions of the few, even though some of the worst events to happen to the US in the last 15-25 years can be directly related back to either christian or muslim extremists. They never punish political groups for the actions of the few. But they will gladly punish ALL “Gun Owners” for the actions of one or two individuals.
  2. I got my cmmg 22lr bolt a month ago. It doesn't have enough recoil to cycle. So while it may work on the little 22 ARs, it didn't work on mine. Actually I just had an idea. It is possible that the buffer spring is taking some of my recoil. So maybe if I remove it before hand, or pin it back it may have enough recoil to work. I know this probably should go on the ar15 forums but, any thoughts?
  3. Forced perspective, and flash angles... Since he is closer to the point of flash, he casts a larger shadow because of his distance to the wall. Since the other objects are further from the flash, and closer to the wall, they cast much smaller shadows. So had he been closer to the background (i.e. a poster) his shadow would have been minimized, as it would have had less distance to expand away from his body to the background. You can see that this is a 3d background, by the way the third (from the top, count clockwise) fan blade interrupts the shadow from the barrel of the shotgun. Bein
  4. There is a group of us that are going out to Memphis Nebraska Wildlife Management Area to do a fun shoot, and then clean up the area afterward. We will be meeting at Cabella’s around 11am on Saturday or Sunday. I’ll provide the exact day as soon as possible.
  5. Sorry, I saw minutes after I posted last night. Then I saw it had already been posted. Anyone want to close the thread feel free.
  6. I wonder how long it will be before the media identifies the Saiga 12 and starts calling for bans on it's import... Most of the images I have seen have him holding a S12 and maybe a mac 10... http://www.thefloridanewsjournal.com/2012/01/02/mt-rainer-shooter-found-dead-buried-snow-national-park
  7. I'll buy one!!! Did you test it with any drums? That will go nicely with my DPMS AR with the SSAR-15!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHi65dN1zYQ
  8. I guess the ruski's find this kind of test to be important as they tend to transport troops in their m35 equivalent, without seatbelts holding their rifles. If you hit a big enough bump and someone drops their weapon, they want to be sure the truck behind it won’t ruin a perfectly good firearm. DAMN the guy who fell out with the gun, he’s a dumb ass, but at least we can pass his good weapon to someone else. XD
  9. First. After watching the disassembly this looks to like a tear down on a normal semi-auto. I don’t see this as more than a dressed up Remington actually. I think a guy actually says that in one of the videos. So, is all the fuss because it has a mag well, with detachable mags? Second. Cyclic rate. Any firm numbers from you guys with one on how fast it fires? Third. Multi-gun. With a detachable mag, that would qualify as open right? So, you have a distinct disadvantage over a Saiga, or any other shotgun with 10+ round mags in the same category. That is, of course until someo
  10. I don't know where this is going in the future... But I have one and love it!!! And I'm not sure if I would want to buy one and modify it for the saiga 12. I can already click that thing off at around 350 rpm...
  11. I put this stock on a DPMS Panther 5.56 Oracle. Not I can essentially shoot full auto for less than $1000!!! then my Saiga 12...
