  1. : How hard were the pins to get out? = easy How hard were the block and sight to get off? the block =very easy (used a socket extension inside the block, firm TAPS with a hammer) the sight= very hard woud not move at ALL. gave up on trying to save it, used a renforced cut off wheel on the under side. didnt need to cut all the way through for the block to tap off easy. i went very slow on this part. only put two tiny knicks in the bottem of the barrel. (cant see with new block installed) Did you have to heat parts with a torch? = nope used alot of oil though Anybody damage something

  3. OK, i thought that the bullet guide was riveted down. but the link showed me otherwise. was stumped on what purpose it served, thanks
  4. no one else has a rivet sticking out the left trunnion by the chamber? will this stop the left side of a hi cap mag from feeding?
  5. Hi, i just picked up a saiga 7.62 at a gun show brand new. i just did the conversion and i noticed there is a 3rd rivet sticking out by the chamber on the left sides front trunnion.. is this to block from installing a bullet guide? if not what purpose does it serve? heres pics sorry they suck my camera is dead..
  6. i have done 3, and the two 7.62x39s and the 5.45x39 have tabs on the inside that DO need to be trimed for the mag to seat. i used a dremel and a grinding bit. noway a cutoffwheel is getting in there. it was easy though.
  7. thanks, racked up $80 in a few clicks. some NICE prices.
  8. +1 i was shocked i got mine soo fast.
  9. LOL at video #1 and #4. in #4 it looks like your laughing too when the drum falls out. i had no interest in a drum when it was 1st talked about. but your drum has me interested now. looks like your not having feeding problims even with the flimsy prototype. keep up the good work.
