Doing the patch test I came up with 1:11-ish...not exact. Sounds like 1:10 makes sense.

Generally accepted sight in for .223/5.56 is a 50 yard battle zero. Due to the flight path of the .223/5.56, when zero'd at 50 yards your poa and poi are within 2" out to about 200-210 yards. I sight in all my .223/5.56 rifles at 50 yards.

Dunhams in Michigan (and elsewhere, maybe?) has Wolf 55gr HP for 3 boxes for $10. Works out to $166 1K. Not the bext price AT ALL, but what cha gonna do? I shoot the Wolf for training or pplinkling and keep my Q3131 or M193 or other "good" surplus ammo for storage.... Remember Wolf .223 for $100 per 1K? Ahhh memories!

So what do we drive?

Fair weather ride.....NEVER in rain! Current daily driver is in the back ground...Honda soccer-mom mini van.....let the wife start driving the STS and she won't give it back! -
Thanks for posting. Interested in outcome. I have Saiga 16" conversion and I shoot wolf for training/fun/practice all the time. Never had an issue either. Not what I'd choose for SHTF carry but the cost is very good for general consumption.

Look cool for who? Standing in front of your mirror? Walking around the range? I'd be a lot easier to just print out a picture of a rifle you like and maybe photoshop it onto a pic of you....if looking cool is your main concern. Frankly I'm inclined to say don't buy a firearm if that is your main focus. How about some new threads or a new haircut? How about going to the gym heavy for a few months and get buff? Maybe focus on your education for better job? Just some ideas....

You know I bought my Saiga due to the cost and caliber..I have many ARs and...well lets just say plenty of 223 ammunition unless I have to single handedly hold of the Chinese army..... I got my Saiga converted and I tell ya...that darned thing has become my favorite....it just loooks so tough and mean....PLUS it is a slick shooter. I am continually impressed with my speed with this rifle. If it only loaded as quickly as an AR (drop free mags with one finger, etc..) I would be selling some ARs and getting more Saigas!

Not that this is exactly on topic....I had a batch of Federal 55 gr BTHP Gold Medal Match loose their primers..like 4-5 out of 100 rounds during one shooting session a couple years back. I thought this would be "the good stuff" but had some horrendous jams when the primer got into my ARs bolt carrier...even quality amuntition can F up. Anyway, I routinely shoot Wolf with no problems yet... Check out the ammunition section over at AR15.com...they have a tagged thread where people list issues with various brands of ammo....

Do a search on "Orlite" (the manufacturer of the synthetic Galil mags) and you will turn up a bunch of information. The answer to your first question is 'yes' (which is probably why CDNN sold out the $5 used Orlites so fast). The answer to your second question is 'no' (which is probably why CDNN sold out the $5 used Orlites so fast ;>). The new Galil Orlites at $10 a pop are still (IMO) a real bargain... You'll need a bullet guide....DINZAGs is very nice and very affordable...Like $30 or something? Then some simple dremel work (about 20-30 seconds per mag...seriously) and your al

Yes, Michigan recognizes all other states CCW permits. Normal rules apply....no establishments that service alcohol, no schools, no auditoriums that seat more that 2500, etc...standard Michigan laws on CCW permit holders....
