I decided to install ubuntu. Prob is, can't get an interweb connection. Needd to "make" drivers or whatever for the lan and wiireless card. I dled the drivers in xp on my dual booted laptop, but am kinda lost from there...

I have tried avast, the trend micro etc and they haven't found a redirect virus on my xp laptop. So, plan on dual booting linux tonight, but when it comes time to delete ms, and transfer files, do I have to worry about corrupting the memory of the xfer device? only plan on moving pics and documents I created...
