I've really got too much time on my hands to be doing this to a perfectly good HK G3 30 rd mag . What do you think? Not as pretty as the injection molded ones, but it functions. Sorry, I'm in the wrong forum tab and don't know how to switch it. This is too ugly to be for sale or trade .

Looking for factory handguard for my poor S-20 Or if BattleRifleG3 is looking at this then please, I would really be interested in one of your wooden creations a la FNC-FAL or CETME style with a TDI style contoured PG and FAL stock with recoil pad. You had one on an earlier thread but I cant seem to find it. I would try to fabricate my own but a steel or tin handguard would defeat the purpose because I'n not tooled for wood and am not really a wood fabricator by trade. I could put neon or LED lights in it but it would seem silly. This electrician does not make a good woodworker.

Hello Cobra, Iknow all you senior members have the inside track on items for these things so let me ask you if there is such a thing as black synthetic handguards such as the BattleRifleG3 creations? If not, then are there any handguards that won't require any more modifications to the steel than I have already made? I'd appreciate any info on that. If anything, if you have any extra s-20 handguards that you have vented, I would gladly aquire one from you. Thanks for your input. Pete IBEW Local 3

Trying to modify my stock handguard but now I need a new one. BattleRifleG3 had some interesting ones and I'm interested in these but would like one in the same synthetic plasic but in his design with the vent holes. Anyone have any ideas or vendors? I'd appreciate any info.

Bought some winchester high velocity slugs and some federal hv #2 shot from Gander Mountain. What a surprise over the walmart brand stuff. no more issues with stoverepiping after polishing the bottom of the bolt carrier and the face of the hammer, greasing the rails--- NICE. I've been reading the posts here for a couple of weeks now and recently aquired my very own Saiga 20 last week. I immediately started to make the necessary changes for it to match my SAR-10. I was reading the ejection problems with the shorter barreled S20s and adjusted my gas ports to match DANZIG's specs from his post: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=9817. I also opened my ports to 3/32" but I opened them all at the same time. I should have opened one at a time.
