  1. Great looking .308 and a stellar deal on the DPMS 5.56! I'm sure you'll have them looking like twins soon. Look forward to seeing pics of the matching pair! nyclu3
  2. Looks like everyone had a grand time with all the available toys at their disposal... Happy Birthday Will! nyclu3
  3. Got you down for the stock. Thank you Mr. TEXASAK73. My S-12 will be very happy.
  4. I would like to aquire this item if it is still available. What kind of payment do you desire? Please PM me with details. 6) Romanian PSL style stock from an Intrac MK II: $25 Thanks, nyclu3
  5. Finally found a wooden thumbhole stock at a recent show that was relatively decent so I bought it for $15... A little sanding and some nice stain to match my S-12 BRG3 forearm. S-20 also got a new stock that I refinished but with plastic paint with a few layers of clear coat. Just a little gun porn for the masses . nyclu3
  6. Interesting Tony, I look forward to a more in depth disection and evaluation on this weapon. Just curious, what is the MSRP on this there in OK? Thanks nyclu3
  7. Cobra, It hurts to see your wounded Mustang. Patience, friends, and elbow grease will get you through. Just thank God you or your wife were not in it. Cars can be fixed, can't get another Mr. Cobra or Mrs. Racer. Tree also fell at my brother's house in Knightdale but thankfully didn't hit anything, just lots of cleanup. Good luck to you with the car. nyclu3
  8. Wow, you're so far downstate you call it the "hood". Evidently, 70 miles isn't far enough away to keep the wanna-be gangstas off my lawn so I had to fence myself in to keep them out! nyclu3
  9. Northeast Orange County, just outside the 'hood in Upstate New York.
  10. CSS has them for 499. I suggest getting it from a reputable dealer such as the ones here on the forum, Tromix, MAA, CSS, Red Jacket, etc... so you don't end up with junk. 200 for an S-12? maybe used 6-8 yrs ago but now Good luck and Happy New Year nyclu3
  11. My sincere condolences to you and your family for the loss of Ray. I didn't know him personally but have seen him here on the forum. Hopefully the New Year will bring you a new beginning. May good fortune smile upon you and know that you have another angel watching over both of you. Peter Layug nyclu3
  12. To all the good people here and everywhere, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone! nyclu3
  13. Thanks, but...Reading comprehension FTW. S12, would be a 'parts gun', i.e. I already have a S12... And yes, I converted it myself. Ah, sorry to be redundant ChileR. Maybe you might try a nice Piston AR in 6.5 Grendel??? nyclu3
  14. Winchester Garand sn#138xxxx is the oldest item in my inventory. August 1943. Built by myself from a parts set on this receiver and wood refinishing by my wife. It may not be original but it shoots so very nice at 100yds with my tired old eyes. nyclu3
  15. Get an S-12 and convert it yourself. It will be take a while but you will know exactly how and why things need to be the way they need to be for proper operation. There are many people here in the forum who can afford to get a Tromix and that is fine and dandy. But for those of us who fancy themselves craftsmen or simply can't afford the luxury of a professionally converted piece, we do our own. There are many tutorials and pre engineered parts to aid you in this. Just my humble opinion. Good luck. nyclu3
  16. Got my V Plug thursday and had a hard time undoing my Gunfixr plug. Its not the plugs as they are both excellent quality. The problem is I need a tap for the gas plug threads and don't know where to start looking. Dinzag didn't have anything on his site. I was wondering what the threads are and where I could get a bottom tap to clean the threads. Mike, as always your stuff is top quality. Thank you. nyclu3
  17. First, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mike from MD Arms and Gunfixr for their excellent craftsmanship on their products. The problem I am having and would like some assistance with is the gas plugs are very tight going into my S-12. They thread just fine by hand in my S-20. I was wondering if anyone knows what size tap I would need to clean out the threads. I'm going to Dinzag's site to see if I can find one there. Thank you for any help. nyclu3
  18. Try reinserting the spark plug then tack welding it in 2-3 places (MIG) then try to get it out. Using the impact gun on the easyout might break it or send shavings into the head. Maybe if you put a shopvac at same time as trying to drill it out...maybe. Good luck, whatever you do and let us know what happened. nyclu3
  19. Good Luck Nathan. Will be praying for your speedy recovery. Pete nyclu3
  20. Mike, Always a pleasure doing business with you. I just ordered 2 gas plugs. I hope they both work in my S-12 and S-20. Happy Anniversary and many more years of business to come. Take your time on the new projects because good things come to those who wait. Thanks for giving us great products to save up for. nyclu3
  21. Shooter, Good luck in your relocation and "Escape from New York". nyclu3
