  1. Just a heads up, they apparently got some more S-12's in. Sold one a few days ago and another going tomorrow http://www.guns4pennies.com/auctions/Arsenal-SGL12-01-1208
  2. Those are called bursa. I've both drained peoples knees and had mine drained. Usually numb the area with a local anesthetic and then drain with a decent size needle, often a 14ga. I've never had much pain with it, or had anybody complain of pain while doing it.
  3. Someone got a very good deal this morning, Glock 17 for $0.24 http://www.guns4pennies.com/auctions/Glock17-9mm-715
  4. Thanx for the sharing your experience, I wouldn't call it a scam either, would you agree to a gambling aspect to it?? And did you pay $350 total for the S12?? And if you dont mind me asking, if you had lost the auction, would you have been out the entire amount?? Again thanx!! I'd definitely say it has a gambling aspect to it. The ~$350 I've spent is the total for everything I've won, although probably closer to $400 when I factor in shipping. That's for a Magpul stock, surefire light, and 2 different types of Magpul foregrips, the S12 and FN 5.7 . I've been able to get a fair amoun

  6. Answering the how much people spend, I can't say what the average person does, but I can tell you I've personaly spent right around $350 there. In fact it's where I won my S-12. I've also won a FN 5.7 and a few accessories. I bid under the name Trigerhppy and you can see me listed under the closed auctions section. I've been bidding there since October I believe. Granted, I have done much much better than the average person, but it's not a scam.
  7. Thanks for the tips so far, I will be spending a lot of time here picking up knowledge hopefully. I'll definitely go through the extended break in and testing prior to doing any conversion work. I actually did pickup a MD arms drum and some surefire mags, so i'll give those a try, and I understand there is likely to be some fitting done to with the drum. I'm normally crazy about polishing and deburring internals, so am planning on spending some time doing that as well. As far as luck, I'll still take all I can get, because it's been a long time since I've shot competition, and that was lo
  8. Ok, I won a Saiga-12 in a *raffle* last month and am planning on doing some work to it, but these guns are new to me. I'm mechanically inclined and can do the labor, but short on cash. Eventually I'd like to use this as a 3 gun shotgun, and will be working towards that goal. My question to you wise men (and a few women I've seen while lurking) is what order should I really start making changes and tuning the gun. Thanks, I've already learned a bunch from reading the prior posts, but know I'm still a rank amateur when it comes to these rather interesting weapons.
  9. Items were exactly as described and shipping was quick and cheap. I will have no reservations about buying from him again.
