  1. There are aftermarket attachments that convert it to hold anything like a light and so forth. It is the same paper work that we filed before the study.
  2. We are WPA and there is no other reason on the deny stamp other than the rail. So there you go. Oh and the permit was for the standard Saiga 12. I have no reason to lie about it lol
  3. This was for the current configured Saiga 12. It is not good news, now to import them no side rail can be installed at the factory.
  4. Well we tried to get approval on importing more Saiga 12's and here is the red stamp on the back saying a big hellz noz.It is official!!!! SG Restrictions.pdf
  5. all the current imports that have the etch out were actually intended to be RAA guns/shotguns. when things went wrong the factory was sitting on a bunch of rifles and shotguns with the wrong import mark on them and had to etch them out and re stamp/engrave a import mark.
  6. Ok I have searched the forums but couldn't find anything about it. So why do I seem to be the only person that has a warn status bar in my profile?
  7. Nope no good news, i am assuming the prices will go up when izhmash tools up to make new guns/shotguns. The U.S. dollar is tanking and the factory wants to sell what they have in inventory already.
  8. I wouldn't hold my breath about the $500.00 price sticking. The factory doesn't have any more 12's in stock so they would have to make them, the last price quote from the factory on a 7.62x39 new production they wanted $20.00 more for it. Now the current inventory with the etched receivers and such are still holding at the same price. fyi

hmm $1,800 is to much for me.
  10. The rail and the plastic sights are a huge problem for me.
  11. they are available from the factory but rare never imported them for some reason
  12. This is a molot factory firearm not izhmash 2 different factories. I have a Vepr in 308 that I got from Atlantic ( and same import markings) and the engraving is the same 'white" and the 10 on the trunion is identical to the 11 as far as texture goes. Not trying to argue or anything I just know they are importable and these are 2011 models, hell the guy that has it on gunbroker is the importer.
  13. how can you tell the engraving has been re-done?
  14. sorry gotta go back and refresh myself on the study
  15. I don't think the above statement is true also the prices will not be that low again considering the current price from the factory is more than $400.00 before duties, excise tax and shipping.
  16. Thanks, I hope the branded wolf saigas will be in later this year.
