    Just curious if there are any members working in the williston to minot area. Would be great to find some shooting buddies. Im near stanley,ND and go to the outdoor range there, even in the winter on good days. C'mon theres gotta be a few roughnecks on here!

    the small propane bottles for soldering and such can be done with a .22 just put them in a card board box with some paper and light it ... some times it takes a couple shots to go through depending on distance and all... but you get the fire ball when it does.

    yugo m57.... cheap and surprisingly accurate, with great velocities. great punch through round for shooting through car doors and such if the need ever arose. ...often a win 1300 pistol grips only. good enough for any thing I'll need to deal with. plus what ever im carrying. 40 or 45

    any one know where to find the thread where some one had built a 20mm sniper out of a used A-10 barrel... i think he was planning on going to some thing bigger to like a 30mm?

    Any of you guys in the stanley ND area? I'm new to the area and don't know of any good places to shoot, that are not near an oil well or a missile silo

      According to Wikipedia, Mountrail County ND has a population of less than 8000 within 1824 square miles. Seems like you could drive 20 minutes in any direction and open up! There is also a regional section here you could check out.

      There's actually constant traffic on all the gravel roads in the area, because they are access roads to the oil wells every other mile on any given road. Trucks run 24/7 to these sites. Do to the oil boom most of the land is private.

    Which pawn shop??? That is what I'm talking about...a Spokane pawn shop told me that. i believe its state law now... i've purchased from 4 ffls in the south east part of the state and all of them recently started charging sales tax on my online purchases. i tried severall the last time because i thought it was bull shit, but they all said the same thing.
