Commercial real estate investor, exotic cars, Italian cooking and nasty loud black weapons with lots of flash and recoil!! Very proud of my Sicilian heritage... don't take shit from anybody attitude and very family oriented. I speak fluent Sicilian (I don't have to read the subtitles when I watch the Godfather movies) and live by old Sicilian values.
  1. Tony did 3 Saiga 12 shotgun conversions for me that are pure kick ass!! How can you go wrong with a Paisan!
  2. I have the bird cage style (brand new) available for $45 shipped... I bought it from the guy on E-bay and it's excellent quality, but I've decided to have Tony Rumore solder one of his pointed brakes on my Saiga12's (I want my barrel to be as short as legally possible with the brake included), so I'm selling mine for what I paid for it... please let me know if you're interested. I only slipped it on the barrel to check fit and it fits perfectly. Pete
  3. My favorite Italian music is Napolitano music... it's kind of like an Italian version of the blues. You should check out the Ellis Island website to see if you can find your grandparent's entry in their book... it's a pretty cool site if you want to get in touch with your family history... I think it helps strengthen your identity when you are closer to your roots, and gives you a stronger sense of pride and character... it's nice to know you!
  4. --> QUOTE(G O B @ Mar 16 2006, 06:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Must be The Italian blood, I LOVE fireballs! My Mothers parents were from Abruzzi. G O B Hey Paisan!! I went through the Abruzzia region last time I was there... I love the rugged countryside and the Trattoria style restaurants... If you've never been there, you should make it a point to go to get in touch with your roots... it's an experience of a lifetime... it will change you forever!! Ciao, Pete (Piero) I hope Tony doesn't mind us taking over his thread... hell it's for a good "paisan" caus
  5. Us Sicilianskies love big fireballs and recoil... the more the better... builds character I always say. well being from the mainland of the old country i'm not sure if it applies but if it does, thats where i get it Hey Paisan!! Must be in the genes... what part of Italy are you from?
  6. Hey, I didn't know you spoke Italian! "Minchia", all of sudden I'm hungry for spaghetti and meatballs!
  7. I agree that I need to make my voice heard, however, I will try to be nice doing it. I guess I will have to be pleasantly annoying until I get my gun...if that makes any sense. Thanks for the feedback. The message seems to be pretty consistant about the delays which actually makes me feel better. Looks like I just have to be patient and bother the hell out of him until he ships the gun. Its too bad about the customer service thing. He would really be gangbusters if he would do a better job in this area. That might work... be consistently & pleasantly annoying so you will be at
  8. Hey I think that's the same smell as anchovies!
  9. I had Dave do an AMD65 pistol for me last year and this is a summary of my experience: When I intially ordered my pistol, everything was great... the communication was good, he was courteous... but as he got busier, he started having problems keeping up and had a series of new emplyee problems, and that's when things changed. My opinion is that when Dave was handling a steady amount of business, everything went well, but he had a hard time with the rapid growth he experienced and is still having problems... I suggested to him that sometimes it's better to maintain a smaller shop and do a g

  11. Basic conversion $350. Check Tony's website www.tromix.com I just wanted to add that Tony's doing 3 Saiga12 conversions for me as we speak... the thing that really impresses me is that no matter how busy he is, he will always find time to return your e-mail or phone call and be very professional about it... not to mention bending over backward to please his customers... if you decide to go with Tony, you won't be disappointed... just my take. I've had custom work done by others before and my experience with Tony has been the best by far. Pete
  12. I just have Vinney and Big Tony watch over my "Family"
  13. A great plate of spaghetti and meatballs and my customized Tromix Saiga 12... it doesn't get any better than that!!
  14. You gotta love it!! I'd love to get a tally of how many members on this forum are of Sicilian decent... I came over to the U.S. in 1969 at the age of 7 and been here ever since... my hometown is Partinico, Sicily... just a few miles from Corleone and Palermo in either direction. If anyone wants something translated or wants to learn some good words in Sicilian just let me know... I speak fluent Sicilian. Stugots (means something like brass balls)
  15. I e-mailed Tony in the past and found out he's a fellow Sicilian... his last name "Rumore" means "Noise" in Italian... so you see, it's in his blood to make nasty and loud creations... he just can't help it! Tony, I'm happy of the fact that you're a "paisan"... you make all of us Sicilians proud.
