  1. Hey Tony is that little 8" monster you have on the website 1400 for the gun itself or for just the conversion. cause I was kinda thinkin my EAA saiga is 14" too long and needs a side folder and shark brake and maybe that wood furniture.
  2. Wow that is one sweet ass gun!!! Tony I was wonderin if maybe you would be willing to part with that M-60 with the ammo pack. I'll trade ya straight up for my 22" EAA saiga Anyhoo I cant wait till I have some extra cash layin around (just got a new job actually hooray!) I think i want the exact same thing done to mine. Or maybe an 8" SBS with the shark break. Edit to add: I just read the part about the school (was really just looking at the gun porn) and as a person who lives in PA and deals with the Amish on a regular basis I think that joke was in bad taste.
  3. I tend to use skunked beer as punishment for losing bets or failing to lift the seat before one pees in my residence. You piss on the seat you drink one of the Natural Ices thats been in the fridge since easter. The Packers beat the Eagles you drink one of the MGD's thats been in there since my 21st Bday party. As for opening a beer with the Saiga.. I usually use the sling loop to pop off the cap.
  4. Actually the weld arent peened. They obviously used a solid core MIG welder to zap those two dinky tacks on there. When your using said method theres always a small divit in the middle of the tack from the impurities and copper coating on the wire which forms a little slag button which was probably knocked off when they bead blasted and refinished the gun. I dont know why I felt like sharing this... Maybe my welding skills havent been used in a long time and I'm without a means to use em so i geek out... Anyhoo just thought I would post that.
  5. Actually I was really just fishing for a reason to post pics of it again. Anyhoo I was thinking as soon as I got a job and some cash together I might send it off to Tromix for a quick conversion to standard AK-74 furniture, 18.5" barrel and a Shark brake.
  6. Well Ive had this gun for a little while and I was thinking it was time for a change. Any suggestions?
  7. Oooooooh uber wants... Damn you unemployment. I swear first chance I get I will order about 5 of em. So right now I need to know something, Does anyone need a TIG welder? I can MIG and Stick as well and I'm handy with an Oxy acetylene torch Moving on from my unemployment what happened that is delaying the production of said Holy relics?
  8. My first pistol (in december when I turned 21) was a SA GI 1911. Only I bought one of the black finished ones. I havent had the bad experience of the hot brass landing on my head as of yet but I can tell you my friend Adam did lol. He pulled the trigger as fast as he could and got a hot brass rain as his reward!
  9. Mike: about your Joeken pistol. It is made from Romanian parts. That doesnt mean anything though. I have several Romanian AK's including a Joeken and they run just as well as any polish or bulgarian Ive fired. Im not sure why everyone has this stigma with romy AK's but they are excellent rifles.
  10. Actually I dont want to make it a DD in fact I have better things to do with 200 buck and one of them could possibly give me herpes... Anyway I was really just asking out of curiosity seeing as Ill be more then happy with my 9 and 5 rd mags.
  11. Wow is that a polymer framed 1911 or is it steel? I mean Ive shot a little bit of everything out of my SA GI model and all it does is shrug and ask for more. Id be seeing a dark shade of crimson right now if I were you! Did you contact the manufacturer abotu it yet? They may be interested in that. And send you a new pistol.
  12. Okay what makes a Shotgun a destructive device? Is it a Magazine capacity over 10 or 12 or something like that? And seeing as the Saiga shotguns use a detachable box magazine... Why hasnt anyone made something similar to a 20 round drum for it? I mean you would think that it wouldnt be too hard to do. As for the NFA portion of it is it possible to serial number the Drums and register and pay the tax for them instead of having to register the shotgun itself as te DD?
  13. What the hell lets see if I can post some pics... Pardon the clutter by the way.
