  1. I did not imply anything. Just that I recalled some issue existed related to inventory, not like I keep track of everyone business dealings. I have enough on my plate.. As for production volume, we can make around 3,000 to 4,000 magazines a month, maybe more but I've never found a product that had demand even close to that, so I've really never got to let the production line off its chain.. Normally we make batches of around 300-500 because on average that works out best for storage capacity vs demand. We just wrapped up a run of 2500+ magazines, six different types, which restocks those
  2. Fair enough.. Yeah if I can't be trusted to accurately report inventory without having my business getting a cavity search every few days. Then there really is no way to make it happen.. Plus the website only reflects sales made online, and the inventory only shows what I type in. How would you audit production? Check how many sheets of steel I buy? the same stock is used in every product.. Check every one of the 200+ bins of parts? call up every storage unit in town to see what I have stored. The heat treater I use could verify tonnage but they don't know one magazine from another, and t
  3. Yeah we make almost 100% of everything in house, so its not like you would be able to verify volume for sake of fees. Also there is normally a fair amount of loss from stampings to actual assembled sellable units. One slip while your welding certain parts and the whole unit is trash because there is not enough meat to get a good weld the second time... And heat treatment normally screws up about .5% bad enough that they just get tossed. It is difficult to track manufacturer volume when the stuff is direct sales. I'm not going to allow access to my sales data, even my mother does not have
  4. I would not get much hope up.... Mike at MDarms won't even give a price per unit. My view is that I need at least 10-12 months to make a product. The 2020 elections are only ?? 20 months away... Anyway I would need to hear something really soon and something good so that we could roll on this fast and hard... Much more time goes by and the value is gone because you can't sell it.. I need at least six to twelve months of sales to break even on a project like this... So I need to hear back like now or honestly last month if this was going to happen, otherwise you are wasting your time. Bec

I don't really like the device.. I have the vepr-12 version and I don't find the time savings to be worth the possible malfunction risk.
  6. You might want to get cracking on that. Since you first teased the idea you lost four states to sell to.. With 8 of 50 states not able to benefit from the magazines anymore.. We are on pace to have that number go up to 12-14 in the next year or so unless the SCOTUS steps in on the gun bans. The viability of the product greatly depends on people being allowed to own it.
  7. Actually I started contact on the open board.. You followed up with a PM. Odd.. I wrote to you on three additional occasions as I was passing through Ohio on I75 on my way to and from Michigan.. I went to Michigan a couple weeks after Irma.. Came back a couple weeks later.. Went again twice in 2018, I wrote in July of 2018 again as I was stopping in cleveland on my way up and would be going through Dayton on my way back. No reply to my PMs, which are also not showing... Good chance your PM box was full, the old version of the site had a smaller number of PMs before it was full if I r
  8. It is a typical AK pattern. You have an extractor claw on the bolt, and there is a stationary ejector that is on the receiver cross support (ejector block). So the question is if your bolt is retracting far enough to strip the round from the bolt or if the ejector is damaged. Sometimes people installed rubber buffers that will prevent the action from opening far enough for the bolt to pass the ejector.. Or the trigger pack can come apart enough to prevent the bolt from fully cycling.
  9. if you could post a photo of the malfunction that would likely help
  10. We used to have a lot of fun. We would go to the Orlando indoor field a lot, the field ended up closing after a few years because it had a reputation of letting "professional teams" of 20-40 year old guys group up on one team against all the walk ons which where mostly kids...when I went I would show up with a gang box full of gear, like 20+ guns that I would buy broken for $20 and upgrade, and loan them out to kids that had walmart stuff. And then we would group the newbies with a couple of our group into 5-6 person fire teams and we would show the newbies how to take out the "pro level" play
  11. Their website is still up, but I gotta imagine those mossberg checks are a lot easier than making stuff.
  12. I do airsoft, I used to play fairly often.. The big thing is for most fields is that they have two limits generally, 30 rounds per second, and 400 fps. I built more than a few rigs that could do both, but they only came on the field when you had flagrant cheaters. Almost every regular player had their cheater buster rig, but they normally did not come out. Like you are playing capture the flag and someone will just run to the flag despite it being fully covered.. We had one that the guy ran for the flag and 12 people hit him, including one that had a spot light, and you could see this pyr
  13. I'm willing to look at the samples and discuss the fee cost.. My contact information is widely available, at any point he wants to pursue the possibility I'm ready to hear it. My interest in the idea is tempered with my own experiences with product production. The more complicated an item is the higher the failure rate. Fee cost is the most important thing I need to know. My understanding is that the feed tower section is mossbergs patent. So they can prevent any aftermarket tower from being made.. So I would not get your hopes up.
  14. I would suggest trying a different round just to be sure.. I have had three warranty emails very close together where the shell used was Federal slugs.. Maybe there is a bad batch floating around? Normally the above malfunction is caused by the front lip of the shell getting damaged. Try pulling the malfunction and seeing where the damage is on the shell... Also check dropping a few shells fresh out of the box into the chamber. What magazines are you using?
  15. Just a consideration since you get to set your schedule.. I take Sunday morning off for Church, and I take either a Wednesday or Thursday off every other week.... I hate weekends, everything I want to do is overcrowded on weekends.. Wednesdays are generally great days to take off, the boat launches are empty, state parks are pretty much empty, beaches are empty.. Theme parks not as crowded, the public rifle/pistol range has like three people at it.. If I need to do some banking or shopping everything is open and well stocked. My Wife works retail and when she applied she stated tha
  16. What video says they should not move? This batch was done as more of a "universal fit" which means that we opted for factory magazine -.010" so they are going to have a little wiggle in some guns.. To few people could operate a metal file to sell them as fitting tightly. The amount of movement present in the video will not cause function issues, the amount the magazine is actually moving in the shotgun is significantly less than it is at the bottom of the magazine.. From years of past posts I am aware that your 20 gauge has not been exactly been the most reliable. To me is seems like some
  17. Grip looks standard.. Selector is a maybe. Trigger is likely not standard maybe it is ar10 pattern? The hammer is longer to reach the firing pin on higher bore center. The front stock is aluminum looks like M-lok.. But I don't have anything M-lok to test with it..
  18. We just got one of these in, basically it is a giant AR-15. I don't think anything on the shotgun is really cross compatible with the AR-15, and likely not the AR-10 either. I'm going to do more of a review and I have someplace to be in half an hour so I'll update it when I get home later tonight. The photos are not exactly awesome, I had my phone in my pocket and ended up sweat damaging my camera... I have a video that I did taking the gun apart just talking about the parts.. I'll try to add that tomorrow since I'm trying to edit in some still shots into it. The Shotgun as it com
  19. I had just finished hauling out the garbage. And finished breakfast when someone called to turn on the TV.. The trash guys just stopped and went home, everything pretty much stopped moving for the whole day and most of the next day.. I recall that Solo cups pretty much went out of stock until February.. And that pretty much every night there was a news report of someone getting killed putting a flag pole into power lines.. My sisters co workers all got decontaminated by Hazmat after a box exploded in the back stockroom covering 50+ people at the store in white powder... One of the pe
  20. I assume grips.. They apparently made decent pistol grips. I think they could have done a lot better on the magazines. Glue on floorplates are kinda stupid. Name a SINGLE major gun company that glues their magazines together..
  21. I actually looked this up some time ago and just pulled the links up again to be sure.. It is not that big a difference, propane is 80% the BTUs of gasoline per gallon, Coleman fuel is basically gasoline with no additives... A 20# tank of propane is 4.7 gallons of propane... So each 20# bottle is basically 3.76 gallons of gasoline equivalent.. So not really a big deal either way. I have a forklift so I have the big 47# bottles, it is illegal to hook them to any household equipment, but after a hurricane who is going to stop me? Honestly who would ever be around to stop me?
  22. I had not really noticed.. I want to say there are pallets of it in the hurricane prep area of HD and walmart.. I don't really look for it because I use Propane for pretty much everything..
  23. If both of those are me... Almost anyone can outshoot me. I don't think I have ever claimed to be that good a shot.. Not that I recall ever having any sort of competitive shooting with anyone there. As for the patent infringement.. I appreciate not having the irritation of that, however I was and still am 100% sure I was in the clear with that device.. Bill ended up selling my stock device with a few improvements to fostech. And they ended up sueing Slidefire who then sued them right back.. In the end Slidefire basically won, and now holds all the patents. So clearly Bills patent di
  24. I joined in 2006, this place was buzzing back then... I was 18 back then. Only person that chimed in recently that was here longer is GOB.. Thing that drives me buggy is that all the activity that was here evaporated while other forums remain fairly active. One of the things that damaged this forum was several shady companies.. There was and likely still is an attitude of not allowing bad press, but that allows companies to really screw up. Once a source of information can't be trusted the viewership will drop like a rock.. It seems today like bringing up product issues would be more
  25. Still waiting on the springs. I only have one spring left from testing. But I was able to take a few pictures. 8 Round 10 Round 12 Round Floor plate
