Figures the year after I move down here that this would happen.

Oh well. His will be done.

Was really concerned about a cat 4 storm ripping through FL. Cat 2 is no prize, but thank God it's not worse.

In my area it was not all that bad. Mostly fallen trees and the resulting power outages. Spent three days running a chainsaw opening roads and driveways for a few older folks we know.. Cleaned a few yards for people that can't do it and don't have family in the area.

There has been talk in my area of sending a couple hundred people from our area to Ft myers to stabilize houses... If they ask I'll go, but so far no one has asked.

  2. Black Friday sale out now.

  3. Power did not even flicker during the storm.

Good to hear y'all came through OK. Count your blessings, over 250K are without power.

  4. Incoming Hurricane. Possible shipping delay.

  5. Starting to weld Vepr12 10 round magazine bodies...14,000 welds down 55,000+ welds remaining.

  6. Well just so ya'll know, welding 10 round saiga-12 magazines is exactly as boring as welding 8 round saiga-12 magazines.

  7. Spent the morning without power. A carjacker crashed a stolen excursion into the power pole about a mile from me.

  8. Saiga-12 10 round magazine parts are in, we are moving into production.

      Cool!

Are the 10-round followers compatible with 8-round magazines?

The batch we made was 10 lbs pork 10 lbs beef and 5 lbs deer. Basically all the older meat out of the freezer. Then about 5 lbs of onions and 25 lbs potatoes. The mix is course ground and stuffed into natural sausage casings and boiled for 10 minutes followed by a basting of bacon fat and then baked for 30 minutes.

Oh good god, you are kidding. that sounds amazing! I just did a screen shot of the recipe, lol.

  15. So apparently we bought a mill that was cutting molds and prototypes from a dead firearms project.. They made super capacity drums, like a 300+ round drum for a 10/22 and larger ones for AR-15s.. Apparently it was for military sales that never panned out. Weird to happen upon another mag company.

I would buy a 300rd 10/22 drum! You should look into it, it was meant to be, lol!

Yeah, but I sleep better knowing everything is running smooth.

Fishing is fun, I caught a couple northern pike, but both came up a little short. I got a bunch of fish at the store cheap so I'm just tossing everything back.

Nice nothing like sitting around fishing in MN

  18. So yesterday I was gluing a little screen protector on, and I had the back of the tube of cheap super glue pop open.. Ended up gluing all my fingers together, then getting stuck to the fire cabinet and the bottle of acetone... Fun stuff right there.

Good thing you didn't scratch your balls.

  19. Just listed blemished/dented Saiga-12 mags starting as low as $31 they past function tests, just looked a little used.

  20. Listed a couple older machines on craigslist, its amazing how many Nigerian finance ministers/princes need to send me millions.. Must be legit.

  21. Ya'll be careful on the roads. Almost got hit five times today, counted 20 crashed cars on my drive to and from the post office which is about 6 miles round trip.

  22. Blah, 9+ hours of breaking machines down for transport and loading in the rain, then driving through Orlando in the rain in rush hour followed by two hours of unloading in the rain.... Beer time :D

  23. Just got a new keg of Killians Irish red.. Good tasting stuff this time.. Much better than the bottles and about half the cost.

  24. Vepr-12 mags are back from finishing. Be sending test mags out shortly.
