  1. Thanks I am going to drill out some areas in the handguard to look like vents kinda, till I get the handguards I want... Problem is... I can't find anything really original I think I am going to have to get creative.
  2. Saiga 7.62x39 @ glocktalk.com Just thought I'd share.
  3. Nyclu3 Nice FAL's I can't wait 'till I can afford one...
  4. Good feed back for Dinzag! GREAT GUY! GREAT WORK! GREAT TRADE! No complaints. (I traded him my Bersa Llama 1911 to convert my Saiga .223)
  5. Thank you good sir. I am glad I didn't sell... Waiting for my next check to order some mags and any other goodies I can find that I feel I need.
  6. Ahh... Finally. (Thank you Diznag) Of coarse its not done yet... When I picked it up Diznag let me fire some off outa' his 12 gauge... FUN! I now know what my most likely next firearm purchase will be. *Cough Cough* Oh no! I think I caught the fever! Here is what it was before...
  7. I am needing to sell one of my guns to get me out of a financial situation. I chose the Llama because I use it the least. I bought it about 2 months ago, I have shot about 200 rounds through it. A few rounds when I first got it failed to feed, but after a few times out and some good cleaning it works great now. 1 owner before me... This was his 1st 1911 and was ready to step up to a Kimber. He would have had no use for this one and was selling it. I have 3 mags for it and the manual. I am looking to get $200 FTF or $235 sipped to your ffl. Thanks, pic below(if you would l
  8. FCG is the trigger group or what? Diznag, when you do a conversion what type of mags will the gun use, and where to find them? I am trying to make a list and get everything at once while I got the money to do it.
  9. I was just trying to stay away from that K-var grip. Its hidious. Oh whell I can always change it later right.
  10. For the trigger group, do I want double or single hook? I am thinking of going with the fiberforce thumbhole stock and handguards, its cheap. $52 Is it American? Will the handguards fit my Saiga without alot of alterations? Or will I have to get a new gas piston or whatever? The trigger group-------------3 parts Buttstock and handguards---2 parts Bullet Guide-------------------1 part Is that good? How hard is it to change the buttstock and grip whenever you want after the conversion?
  11. Bah! on all that... I was tryin' to find an easy way out. I am just going to convert the whole thing!
  12. Bah, I will just do the conversion. What kind of mags will I have to buy when I do the conversion?
  13. So, is there a kit you need to get? Can I just pickout any stock that will fit an AK? I need 5 parts huh?
  14. You are right I hadn't look around much at all. Nearly everyone is telling me that I should convert it. Plus I got to looking around and all the other .223 AKs arent getting all that good of reviews. Sorry to all if I got your hopes up.
  15. I am still thinking of converting diznag, with your help. I will not attemp on my own. I am generally looking for a trade now if anything. I am worried if I sell the gun then can't find something else I want right away I will spend the money on somehting else.
  16. Trade Pending... This is what I had planned on doing untill I found out what it really took to do. This would be my 1st time and I don't want to mess up the rifle. I found someone that says they want to trade a WASR in .223, I was looking for a trade initially.
  17. I have a Saiga .223 for sale or trade. Its like new with only around 100 rounds through it. It came with one 10 round mag. You can find 30 rounders. I cleaned it after I took it out to shoot both times. I am looking to get $225+shipping for it. Actually... I am looking to trade for just about any assult type rifle or carbine in .223/5.56(plus cash if needed).
  18. I have a Saiga .223 AK variation for sale or trade. Its like new with only around 100 rounds through it. It came with one 10 round mag. I cleaned it after I took it out to shoot both times. I am looking to get $225+shipping for it. OR... I am looking to trade for just about any assult type rifle or carbine in .223/5.56(plus cash if needed).
  19. Would any 'normal' AK stock fit on it? I was thinking that I could just get a buttstock that is "flatter" or "straiter" underneith and just just somehow attach a pistol grip to that just behind the trigger. Posted by jtoddellis "There are a few people makeing pistol grip stocks for unconverted saigas. I'm not sure about the legality without adhering to the parts count rule." What do you mean? It might be Illegal?
  20. FWIW that is the best looking Saiga I have seen... I am new though
  21. I recently bought a Saiga .223 and didn't realize when I first baught it that it would require converting to change the buttstock. "High_Cap" on this forum sells 30 round mags for uncoverted guns. I want to change the buttstock WITHOUT coverting (I don't trust myself to do the conversion, and since the gun was only $199 itself, I don't want to drop $300 paying someone to covert it). Does anyone think this is posible? Has anyone done this? Thanks...
