  1. This is what I wonder. I never used photobucket so I have nothing that I really need to recover, but I hate that I can't view pic threads hardly anymore. EDIT: Yep. That worked.
  2. Just sharing some photos from the Krebs Customs shoot this last weekend with Everyday Civilian and 13c Gun Reviews. Had a line up of Krebs Rifles, some Post samples. Some new stuff and some prototypes. They also brought along a converted SAW and a Swedish K. Here's a few of my favorite shots. 4. Pretty frustrated with that little bit about UBC and 3 day wait times. Dude is a badass and has done some awesome things. Is a great shooter but damn.
  5. Do you have any pics of it with the stock folded? Ask and you shall receive. Truck Gun by Damage Photos, on Flickr
  6. FINALLY picked up a bonesteel stock. Called Chris and he met me locally. Cool dude and a pleasure to meet. Bonesteel by Damage Photos, on Flickr
  7. Picked up a bonesteel folder. I like how the CRT looks on it. Needs a cheek riser. Also blocks the trigger while folded. Trying to decide if that's a deal breaker or not. Bonesteel by Damage Photos, on Flickr
  8. Thanks. Not staying this way as I want to keep it folding to remain a pistol here in MI. Picking up a bonesteel stock on Monday or Tuesday.
  9. Switching some things up. Got a Russian wood set from Khyber Customs and threw it on the Saiga for fun. Saiga Rusky Wood by Damage Photos, on Flickr Made in Russia by Damage Photos, on Flickr
  10. Thanks for the heads up. Been needing a white upper for the lower you see above. Ordering.
  11. Have to agree here unless you have good reason to do an 80%. I did an 80% forged lower recently, here were my thoughts shared elsewhere.

  13. Interested in seeing your results with the new cover.
  14. Thanks man. I didn't do the conversion. Definitive Arms did it. So I can't help there. How are you having issues with red dots? Can you elaborate? Took the Saiga to the range again. Ran flawlessly again. Was only able to put about 75 rounds through as I was splitting my hour and ammo between several rifles. What was cool was shooting it right after shooting my AR and feeling the difference in the recoil impulse and carrier moving. With the Griffin brake you can really feel the carrier's travel. More of a push. I really like the LRBHO. I can tell easily when I'm dry, no clic
  15. Not directly firearm related but EDC and shooting related to a degree. Ordered my wife and I both a Dark Angel DARK trauma kit. Opted for bright "hey I'm a medkit" orange.
  16. They wouldn't last long. They would go there thinking they could run their mouths as they do here in a free country and suffer the consequences of it. I really can't believe this is where some Americans are. I would have never predicted it. The worst thing about it is that these sucker youths will rapidly follow to be part of a "movement". Like lemmings to the cliff... This is my biggest worry. We've got a generation of pussy men and loud mouth women. And the progressive public school system is only reinforcing it. We have a 3 year old girl now and another due in April. Sending
  17. Gas tube and handguard retainer don't count. Currently with the pistol grip, stock, handguard, piston, hammer, dis-connector and trigger you're good to go. This puts you at 8 foreign countable parts.
  18. Thanks sir. Yeah, with the 1-9 twist and being an AK I was expecting somewhere in the 2moa neighborhood and happy with anything better. I should have my Weaver Tactical 2-10 Wednesday. I've got the RS mount to run it. I'll try to hit the range again this weekend and see just how good I can do.
  19. Always striving for 1moa. Haha. Yes, some material was removed to allow all parts to work, including getting the AR mags in high enough. How much and what material I honestly don't know. That's why I would have NEVER attempted a conversion on my own.
