Captain-Yes, it does grab the hammer when I do this: Pull the trigger, keep it pulled and push the hammer down with your thumb all the way and see if the disconnector is grabbing the hammer or not. I always use the factory hammer spring, but the disconnector has a small spring as well. It goes inbetween the trigger and the disconnector. I used the original disconnector spring and it is there. vw-very little movement when I pull the trigger. I'm not sure about bending the spring. I didn't bend the trigger sprin

Everything seems to be there. I could try to put the original trigger spring on and see if that helps. I believe that I bought an aftermarket spring for the trigger and maybe it is not strong enough to bring the trigger forward far enough to reset it. Hell if I know! My trigger will not always reset after I fire it. If I push the trigger forward after I fire it, it resets and I can fire again. It has been converted. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue? Thanks

Hi, I converted a S-12 a while back and want to convert my new Saiga 7.62x39 and was wondering if it's same same process. The only thing that I plan to do different with this build is replace the handguard with a Chaos rail. All the same ol, same ol other stuff will be done as well....trigger forward, pistol, cut tang and add stock. I thought everything was the same but read something somewhere on here about replacing the gas tube...not sure about that? Thanks to all who input on all these forums!

I also think DrGonZo nailed it too, animal style at in-n-out is the most exciting thing in redding. The fishing can be pretty kick ass too though. You have to try those fries animal style too....damn they're good!

The question I had PUD was if anyone has ever heard of anyone or has been into trouble because of the S12. Or if anyone else has been advised to not shoot their legal gun. Those answers I still don't know. I appreciate all the other replies and I think Sam nailed it. He has experienced exactly what I was curious about.

That's pretty much what I thought. I have read a shitload of information on here and Calguns. I have read every law and post I can find on the subject about 50 times. I just wanted to know if there has been any real issues with this firearm, not some bullshit theory on how they read the law and believe them to be not legal. I know this topic gets drilled on many times a day but I couldn't help to throw one in for owning and shooting the S12. I live in California and I bought mine in CA recently. I've done the conversion and have tested it and it was awesome! I want to shoot this gun a lot however after the feedback from gun stores in the area....I'm not so sure I should risk a felony. I felt a little funny about driving around with my S-12 wrapped in a towel sitting in my lap as my friend drove us to the range. We also had about another 12 guns in the back of the truck.
