i bought a saiga 5.45 on 5/26/2011, and the conversion is almost done (except for wood furniture)

Local board has 12 of them for $15 ea. Those the best buy for the ones listed? by far

as far as i know, and tried, everything is interchangeable, sometimes it takes a dremel to fit, but it works, im no expert though

you can replace the whole front sight base with ak74 base, that will give you the threads for the real break (24x1.5) that will have the bayonet lug

The muzzle break will fit if you thread your barrel to 14/1 left handed thread

I also have a Soviet/Russian 3 piece AKM wood furniture set (upper, lower hand guard and butt stock) - $100

the barrel length makes no difference for the handguard, but you need to get a bolt-on retainer, and put a notch on the barrel, once you have the retainer, its very self-explanatory

how hard is it to convert? expensive?

i have 2 complete sets, but they are not really for sale, unless there is an offer i cant refuse
