  1. MARKW1 is a very good seller to deal with and he is a stand-up guy. Items are shipped promptly.
  2. I threaded my 0.591" barrel using a .223 tat, cheap chinese die and lots of oil. The hardest part was getting it started. Although I wouldn't recommend it if you have other machine tools, it can be done at home. Currently the rifle has a 14mm x 1 L to 24mm x 1 R adapter and an AK-74 brake. Another thing I considered when starting this project was to turn down the very end of the barrel to allow the die to get started easier.
  3. Thanks for the replies. I ran more rounds through the rifle and had no malfunctions, especially with the last round. I guess they needed to break in a bit.
  4. The rifle will chamber a single round loaded through the magazine. Strange, isn't it? It has no issues with A-Zoom snap caps either. edit: bad spelling
  5. After looking at the chamber face picture, it looks like the rounds are hitting low on the face. I might have to put a shim under the left side of the bullet guide.
  6. I've tried three different Orlites. There doesn't appear to be any marks on the magazines from the bolt. bullet guide chamber face edit: errant image insert
  7. I thought there was a thread that covered this but for the life of me I can't find it. The issue is with my converted Saiga with Dinzag bullet guide. When firing from Galil Orlites, the last round will try to and has been ejected through the ejection port. In some cases it won't have the momentum to eject and the live round will stovepipe. I'll have to double check, but there may be marks on the chamber face. These are things that may be wrong and I could use your assistance in trying to figure this out.
